[Town Hall] Territories.

Currently:

  • Once per 6 hour challenge.
  • 5 minute prep-wait (to be made 30)
  • Reduce cost of all non-regen upgrades by 2.5%
  • Reduce Item Shop prices by 2%
  • Reduce Ramen prices by 2.5%
  • Reduce Hospital prices by 1%
  • 750+250/per territory VF to challenge Territory
  • Kage gains (Territories/10)% damage increase. (26 territories+home/10=2.7%)
  • ANBU leaders gain (Territories/15)% damage increase. (26 territories+home/15=1.8%)
  • ANBU members gain (territores/20)% damage increase.(26 territories+home/20=1.35%)

Added Functionality:

  • Increases max SP during War Times (100)
  • Decreases max SP if lost. (250 + 100 from owning)
  • Increases max SP when claimed. (100)
  • Increases current SP when claimed. (125)
  • Increased Gathering effects in friendly territory. (Increased min/max drop rate by 1)
  • 3 hour timer and 2 hour Prep-wait between warring villages.

So with the War-thread comments in mind some added functionality can be added to Territories. Above is a list of things Territories currently do, and a few additions I plan on adding. However, some contribution is welcome. (I'll post on that one soonish as well)

 

So, if you all can keep it civil, go for it.

Is the gathering buff worth it since most materials are in the UC?

All metals, a large part of C/J herbs and animal herds also spawn on the map.

 

Herb Location 18.7 Green Chili, Green Chili

Herb Location 19.14 Yellow Chili

Herb Location 20.10 Myouga Ginger, Wildwood Tangler

Herb Location 20.12 Prickly Ash, Soy Beans

Herb Location 25.16 Yuzu Citron

Yay, territories :D

 

What about purchasable upgrades for territories, similar to village upgrades?

 

A few ideas based on what I see in the original post.

 

Scout Tower - Increases time it takes for Territory challenges to begin by X minutes per upgrade.

 

Gatherers Hut - Further increases the min/max drop rates for friendly users. Could be specific variations like mines, hunting cabins, etc to increase drop rates for a specific profession as well.

 

Special Resource Structure - Could make special resources found in the area available at the village's item shop. Villagers would be limited in how many they could buy per day. Further upgrades could increase potency/variety/limit of these special items.

 

All of these upgrades could contribute to overall SP as well.

 

Obviously this would make villages put much more stock in their upgraded territory, and potentially cause conflict over territories with desirable Special resources or high levels of upgrades.

 I am thinking maybe (I don't know if it already is like this) but maybe you can make it so, killing your own territory grants PvP EXP since your defending, would make territory's more desirable

Another idea, what about resources that are only visible to allied players in owned territories? This means there would be extra resources that only players from X village could see and claim.

 

Each territory could have it's own set of specific resources that spawn. Mountains spawn more metals, Swamps spawn more water based herbs, Grasslands spawn more land herbs and animal herds, Deserts spawn more hardy herbs and small amounts of metal, etc.

 

It would make sense that a village would have measures in place to prevent "poaching" of their resources, which is why some of it is only visible to villagers. This could be part of the upgrades idea from before or separate. Once again this would encourage holding strategic territories like mountains for rare metals, swamps/grasslands for rare herbs, etc.

In order to do a territory battle, do the territories still have to be right next to the ones you can challenge for? 

 

Cuz that SP swing sounds kinda exciting during war times.

This functionality was removed due to alt-killers abusing the hell out of it. Will not return.

Yes, you can only challenge adjacent territories. It would mean that, in this case, people might need to challenge for other villages territories.

 

Ven's upgrades are interesting.

 

  • Outpost
    • Increases the amount of AI defenders.
    • and/or
    • Increases strength of AI defenders.
    • Increases SP damage when Territory is lost by 150
    • Max level 1
    • 1000 VF
  • Gatherers Hut (replacing Post 1 listed increase)
    • Increases gather amount by 1 per level
    • Increases non-ally gather timer by 15 seconds per level
    • Decreases ally gather timer by 5 seconds per level
    • Increases SP damage when Territory is lost by 50 per level
    • Max level 3
    • 375 VF per level
  • Scout Post
    • Hides resources up to 50*lvl from other villages.
    • At level 5+ adds this territory to Ally-scout range.
    • Increases SP damage when Territory is lost by 60+10 per level
    • Max level 9
    • 150 VF per level

Using this a Territory could become really effective for gathers as well as making them harder to obtain. More options are always open.

So just checking but Syndicate can challenge for any territory it doesn't have to be adjacent correct?

That's actually a good question. I think they can at the moment (excluding Home Territories of course). I don't really see why not though.
