Tsukimi Festival

Tsukimi, literally moon-viewing, refers to a festival honoring the autumn moon. Historically Tsukimi refers to Seichi's tradition of holding parties to view the harvest moon.

In an attempt to keep tensions from progressing, the villages have invited everyone to TSU. Here the arteries and avenues of the of the Academy have been girdered up and decked out in various autumn colors in reference of the coming autumn. Various talented mokuton users additionally were hired to add a flare to the scenery as orange, brown and red leafed vines twist around wooden posts and structures. Orange lanterns light the way on the beautiful full moon night, leading you to a autumn ball ~ your destination. Not only that but shops with various fun games line the way to the ball!

~Shop 1~

A bulbous man stands behind the counter of a kingyo sukui shop. Various stuffed animals hang behind the man up on a rack as prizes. Next to him is a aquarium filled with goldfish and your job is to scoop them up into a bowl. That sounds easy enough, right? Well, the net is made of paper and will dissolve and break if you use too much power or leave it immersed in the water too long. Does it sound so easy now? Think you can win a stuffed animal?

~Shop 2~

A skinny elderly gentleman sits at a table with five upside-down cups and a small white ball spread out before him. The goal of his game is to keep track of which cup he places the ball under, while he shuffles the five cups around and stops after a few seconds. Each player can play up to five times for a single payment, and their prizes are determined by how many times they guess right in a single game - ranging from small things like hairpins and calendars to teddy bears. Guess right all five times and you win the ultimate prize! The only problem is, he gets faster with each round, and can get darn near inhuman at the end....

~Shop 3~

An attractive young man stands at attention here at this shop. He has no game for one to play at but instead is selling Sata andagi. Walking up the delicious smell of sweet deep fried buns of doughnuts wafts through the air. Holding up a plate with 3 doughnuts powdered to look like mini full moons he says with every purchase you get a free special special treat!

  • There is a dress code for this event and the ball, but only for your outfits color. You can wear whatever you like so long as it's autumn themed. Reds, browns and oranges for example must be the dominant colors in your apparel or have floral arrangements on them. Other then that you can wear what you want to.

We have decided to extend the join by date of this event until the end of October to still get credit for visiting all the shops for prizes and exp rewards while people finish up their RPC's. You will be able to claim any prizes and exp before hand if you wish but this now allows more to join and socialize, have fun and meet new people! :D
