Don't really play tnr anymore but still sad to see the playerbase falling so decided to offer this quick suggestion.
Suggestion Outline: Get a ssl certificate and swap all http content over to https
What would change: Content would be served via https instead of the current http.
How it benefits us: https offers quite a few benefits however the main pro of doing this in tnr's case is that offering https helps with seo and may help bring more organic traffic to the site, if i remember correctly terr said awhile that organic traffic is not as large as a problem as actually keeping players, however having more organic traffic can never hurt a site.
Why it matters: TNR needs more players, plain and simple.
Problems/concerns involved (if applicable): An ssl certificate does cost, however you can just use a let's encrypt ssl certificate if you want, which is free.
Anything else relevant to your specific suggestion (if applicable): It takes literally 5 minutes to implement an ssl certificate, has no disadvantages and is free if tnr wants to just use let's encrypt.
