Don't really play tnr anymore but still sad to see the playerbase falling so decided to offer this quick suggestion.

Suggestion Outline: Get a ssl certificate and swap all http content over to https

What would change: Content would be served via https instead of the current http.

How it benefits us:
https offers quite a few benefits however the main pro of doing this in tnr's case is that offering https helps with seo and may help bring more organic traffic to the site, if i remember correctly terr said awhile that organic traffic is not as large as a problem as actually keeping players, however having more organic traffic can never hurt a site.

Other benefits:

Why it matters: TNR needs more players, plain and simple.

Problems/concerns involved (if applicable): An ssl certificate does cost, however you can just use a let's encrypt ssl certificate if you want, which is free.

Anything else relevant to your specific suggestion (if applicable): It takes literally 5 minutes to implement an ssl certificate, has no disadvantages and is free if tnr wants to just use let's encrypt.

Agreed, also it hads another pro, security in it's forms.

HTTPS encrypts data between user and server, and looks great xD

Been nagging for one of those for over a year.

Easy to do, hard to get done.

Accepted, but requires Terr, so yeah.
