Ninja Info Card
Name: Konkou, Teru 紺昊照
Alias: Jalapeño (Stupid nickname given by a stupid neighbor)
Height: 4’5” (1.325m)
Weight: 55 lbs (25kg)
Element: Fire, Wind, Ice
Language: Common, Hyougaan
With badly-bleached bluish hair just down to her nape, the tips of which stand on end; the front part is draped above her eyes and down the sides of her face. Eyes a shining blue, large and expressive but obviously forced to appear as if they were stone-cold and uncaring instead. Her face is small as are most of her features aside from her eyes; her hairstyle and movements lean towards those of an uncouth little boy.
In the presence of strangers, her posture is generally relaxed with hands in her pockets- except in the presence of cake which appears to make her fidgety as its sugary presence calls to her. Just a wee bit underweight for her age and height, she seems to be a walking lump of textiles under her cowl, boots and trousers; her choice of colors mostly switch between the earth tones grey and brown.

Once upon a time…
…is how fairy tales usually begin. Not this one. This is not a fairy tale anyway. Teru was born to an average family with decent income and a fair social status. Her parents were not popular but not unliked either. The father managed a store which was owned by a traveling merchant, and thus stocked on a great deal of curious things from different places. Whenever her father’s boss was in town, he would come by to check how things were going and then he would be off again. The mother was involved in the community and taught little kids how to read and write, children of busier individuals.
Teru was born in, grew up with and continues to thrive in that environment. Working parents, school and games most of the day, some studying after dinner, sleep- rinse and repeat. She did not have any particular hobbies, unless bullying one of her neighbors counted as a pastime. That boy next door was a rather lenient fellow and Teru liked making him shriek, scream and yell in horror at her pranks. His shoes filled with bugs, a glass of lemonade with nothing but lemons- seed and all, gum on his chair, black ink switched with red ink for his writing tools… she was rather cruel to him on a regular basis until the neighbor became seriously angry at one time. He was very scary, is what she thought; and so Teru toned down the pranks but did not stop them altogether.
Oh, and she has a family pet capybara named Wolf.
Boots stuck in the mud, hair sopping wet due to the pouring rains- it was possibly second to the worst, if not the worst, day of her life. Teru had just gone to the store sent on an errand to buy flour and milk, but Wolf had followed her outside the house and had nipped away the purse of moneys that she had. Obnoxious little bugger that he was, the capybara ran off with the purse and Teru had to chase him down the streets. The genin was fairly nimble and quick but the capybara much more so. Halfway through the chase, Wolf ducked into a hole in a fence and, seeing as it was way too high for Teru to jump over, the girl could do nothing but try to find a way around it. It was then that rain began to drizzle down from the heavens and before long, she had gotten her feet stuck in a puddle of mud.
“You bakapybara! Where are you?!” Teru yelled out in frustration.
Eyes glimmered from atop a stack of crates, and a brown beast lunged towards the girl who was looking the other way.
“GAH! You’re heavy!” she screamed as Wolf landed on her back and pushed her face-first onto the ground.
The adventure was short-lived and the errand was soon done. Teru dragged her heavy boots and coat home despite the weird looks that she got from the shopkeeper and by-standers. Wolf trotted proudly by her side as if the successful prank was yet another badge on his brown fur.
