Just outside of the Locker rooms, the Medical tent sat awaiting the injured contestants of the World Tournament. A few medical nin had been stationed here.

They were given very limited supplies, however. The tournament committee had decided they wanted the tournament to be more difficult this year, so the degree to which injuries were allowed to be healed was decreased significantly.

They could bandage your cuts and give you minor pain killers, and they could heal or mend broken bones and potentially life threatening injuries. But if you were still competing in the tournament, that was about all the medical care you would be receiving.

OOC: I guess I'll start 0_0

IC: Hearing the clashing of weapons echo through the stadiums as the crowd cheered for their favorite ninja, Migoto began to walk towards a small little tent pitched somewhere near the lockerooms. He was assigned a mission just before his last one, dealing with the injuried. Using this knowledge, he was assigned to this current one, helping with the World Tournament. Though expecting a high tech-state-of-the art facility for the medical ninja, instead he saw a small tent with limited supplies given. He cocked his head in confusion and just sat down waiting for someone to hopefully explain everything.

OOC: This one's for you, Cap. Link (http://www.theninja-forum.com/Vbulletin/showpost.php?p=1188380&postcount=17)

He isn't continuing in the tournament, so treat him for all injuries. The concussion and the damaged back and hip.

To be sure of her destination Toph had been lead to the medical tent. The numbness of the poison she had been affected with had worn off and now the poor blind girl has a bad headache on top of her other wounds. To sum up her condition she had a shuriken wound on her chest, with the shuriken still in it, a shallow but still bleeding stab wound to the stomach and a slightly swollen jaw. She was quite lucky really as the jaw was not broken and would not really need any attention, but whoever was there would be need to patch up the other problems and she would also request for some painkillers for her headache.

Migoto saw his first victim...patient come through the tent. It seemed like the 'masked' ninja was defeated. He laid unconcious, laying up like he was almost dead. Migoto checked his pulse and other ABCs; seemed like everything was normal, except for the damages that he had seen through the tournament. Seeing an open makeshift bed, Migoto had the unit lay the patient down. Due to the rules, the winners had only limmited treatment, but obviously he wasn't the winner. Migoto opened up his case and took out his needed materials. Though he didn't need to burn some open wounds or anything, he still needed to fix the back and hip problems. He got a piece of hard wood and slid it under the ninja very carefully, as the slightest move could damage the spinal cord forever. He then grabbed his bandages and began wrapping it around the ninja's back, making sure it was snug but not too tight. He then forcefully gave some painkillers to the ninja, as Migoto knew that as soon as he woke up, he would feel the pain. After blotting some cloths in some water and putting it on his forehead, Migoto could only wait till he wakes up. He then saw a small girl come over, wounded from a recent battle. She seemed bad, and as of recent, he was the only one in the tent that could help.

"Are you ok?"

“Ye- yes, I’m- wa-wait no, I’m n-not.” Toph stuttered to the one there that had asked. The medical tent felt rather crowded, in the sense of it lacked space rather than was full of people, and Toph was trying to not fall over something as she blindly moved towards the sound of the woman’s voice. Her condition was immediately notable though the extent of what they could do to her was not. Realising she had not said so, and not wanting to cheat, she added. “I – er, won my match, if you need to know that... I would like some painkillers as well if you have any; I have a really bad headache.” The stab to the gut and the still poking out shuriken were obvious as was her jaw, it was up to the one offering help to figure out what to do with her.

Migoto watched the little girl stutter her answer as she began walking towards him. Her walk was not normal, looking like a baby's first steps, and Migoto wondered what was wrong with her. He gently took her by the hand and sat her down onto one of the beds, then the diagnosis would begin.

"My name is Umeda, Migoto. It's a pleasure to meet you. Apparantly you won, well by the look of your opponent over there. I'm going to do the best that I can do with the limited supplies kay!" As Migoto was talking to the little girl, he was checked for all the bruisings and damaged bones. Thankfully, there was no damged bones, but the intruding shuriken and stab wound did need to be patched up. Migoto grabbed some anti-septics and dabbed them on a soft gauze material as he then dabbed that on her stomach wound. He then badaged her up and followed suit with the shuriken. There would be pain from taking out the shuriken, but the pain would be quick as he would clean it up and rather than gauze around her chest, he put a large sticky band-aid.

"Do you need anything else?"

“Ok...” What else could the small girl say? She sat as still as she could, her unseeing eyes staring out over the person working on her and picking up nothing at all. She let out a whimper when the antiseptics were applied to her stomach wound but held as still as she could anyway. This was for her own good wasn’t it? “How did I do this? I won right? This is very confusing... How did I pull it off?” she thought back as Umeda was looking over and patching her up, what was the point when she started to win? It was around the end, when she had caught hold of her opponent and not let go that she had won. Apparently she was strong, stronger than he was anyway, what exactly did that mean though? That catching her opponent was her only hope? Apparently so, and it was worrying, she could not see her targets condition and hearing is no way to tell it either so if she was doing such close attacks they might not be able to pull her off in time next time. She suddenly realised that she was done, a bandage on her stomach and a bandaid on her chest where there was once a shuriken. “U-um, just some painkillers if you have them. Yo-you don’t mind if I stay here and wait for someone do you?”

"Umm sure...No problem." Migoto walked away looking for some pain killers that were stored inside the tent. Through the almost empty bottles that the tournament forgot to refill, he finally found some and gave the little girl a small dosage of pills. Take this with water he said handing the water out. After she had taken the water from him, he would just start to clean the place a bit while sighing...

"It seems as if med nin get no respect these days...guess I'll just have to change that." A small whisper came through as he delicately said his sentence. He walked back towards the small little girl as he cocked his head in confusion.

"What's wrong?"

Victor walked into the med tent, looked around, and then sat in a waiting chair. He said nothing. Compared to the other contestants there, he had only suffered a few minor scrapes and bruises from the fall. He was more focused on resting for now. When one of the doctors had time, they could patch him up as well. He'd certainly be an easier case than everyone else there.

Jun arrived in the medical tent, wanting to get some work done before his next match began. He immediately approached Victor, looking him over. The patient seemed to be in near perfect condition.

Reaching for some bandages, he said to Victor, Show me where your wounds are and i can give them a dressing. Are you experiencing any unusual pain, nausea, dizziness?

Victor looked up at the man speaking to him. The guy looked very strong. Probably a very experienced shinobi. Victor just looked himself over and then returned his gaze to the man.

"No, I'm fine for the most part... just a bunch of scrapes and bruises. I'm focusing on resting and restoring my chakra for the moment. If you could patch up what little injuries I have, I would be most appreciative, however."

He then lifted his shirt, revealing a plethora of small scrapes and splinters from the fall of that massive wooden pole from his first match. Victor was in pain to be sure, but he wasn't about to complain about such minor wounds.

“Th-thanks, I’m just going to wait in the corner here for a bit...” Toph carefully moved, not to the corner like she had planned, but into the centre of the whole room and sat down and waited. When the painkillers were passed she used the water the quickly swallow them before sitting down in her middle-of-the-room-corner and started he wait for her good friend to turn up. “I guess Kiwi was right, I do seem to have some ability. But how did she know? What is it that lets me do this kind of stuff?” Toph’s thinking was not interrupted by the new people moving around, but their voices did reach her ears and she started to wonder if any of them had entered the matches, and if any had won.

Jun would rummage through a supply basket until he found a set of tweezers. At that point, he would begin plucking the small splinters from Victor's midsection one at a time. Once that was done, he would apply bandages to the cuts, and Victor would be in fighting condition again.

I just got out of my match myself, actually The Jounin said to his patient, How did yours go? Besides winning, of course. While he spoke, he glanced around the tent and saw Migoto, the intern, was treating the only other patients whom had arrived thus far. He wondered if Ako was going to come in with all of the injuries he had recieved. Maybe pride wouldn't allow it.

Migoto nodded to the small girl as she said she just wanted to sit near the corner. He did have to pay his respects to her after all; everyone had his or her comfort zone, it just seemed as if hers was more dense. But when Migoto started to walk back and pack, he saw her walk right towards the center of the whole tent. Migoto walked back and sat down with her, facing her, carefully looking at her.

"You know, you don't have to be shy about things. We all are different after all. But, if you do want to talk or anything, just call for a Umeda." Migoto couldn't pin point the exact case of what she had or was doing, but he knew that she wasn't comfortable with answering it to people. Instead, he just left with a smile as he left her on the spot. He then saw another medic working on another ninja, one that seemed very similar to his own village.

The next sight would be a strange one. A tall, muscular boy [Korin] would enter the area, on top of an upright piano. However, this upright piano would be slowly moving along, with a slightly panting, smaller, leaner, weaker, and altogether more diminutive and weak boy pushing it there. The piano rolled in, and the boy, The Jack, leaned against it, sighing. "Well, we're here. Now let's see..."

Taking a look at the conviniently nearby duty roster, None's face dropped, and his jaw almost fell to the floor. It would have been comical, if None's face had been made for that. Instead, he just looked irritated, and secretly pissed. Why was the name 'Jack O' Trades' third on the friggin' list? WHY?! Well, he was on the list... and so it was his duty to do the stupid junk he was assigned to.

Help the wounded. Excellent. Fine. "Whoever wants help, get over here. Apparently, I'm supposed to tend to your freaking wounds. Freaking duties assigned to freaking civilians who can't freaking freaking freak." What about his wounds? He was injured too. Dang, seriously.

ShoUzumaki

Korin yawned on top of the piano as he was rolled in on the piano. He propped his head up on one arm, staring around at the medical tent. He didn't really looked that injured, just a few dings and dents. He laid on top of it until it had stopped moving. He rolled off of it on to the ground. "Woe is me! My ankles, my back, my... what else did I hurt?" He asked, moving over to the list to figure out what it said. He stopped, turning slowly to look at None. He knew the fake name None had entered under solely because that was who had won.

Korin bent down to the smaller boy. "I need immediate medical attention!" He said, falling on to one of the cots. He put the back of his hand over his eyes and began moaning, too obviously pitiful to be pitiable. He peaked through his fingers at None, "Well... get to work." He pulled his pants' legs up, showing off the small welts on his ankles. He then took off his shirt, showing of the circular red mark upon his back and the foot-like imprint upon his arm.

Victor waited as the man patched him up. Apparently, he had been one of the other contestants as well. Victor laughed as he asked him how his match went.

"You mean aside from me falling 10 stories? Things went well, I think. I hate falling. I hate it with a passion. I take it you won your match as well?"

Yuki Aisu
14-04-2010, 18:02
10 stories... I hope I don't have to get involved in that... "Yeah, yeah. Jeez." The Jack advanced to where Korin was, bandages and pills in his hand, and hauled the boy up, dropping to one knee for the welts. He passed one pain killer to Korin and procured a glass of water from nowhere for Korin, pocketing three painkillers himself. Either way, the welts shouldn't be a problem. "Hmm, this'll hurt."

None dropped some water over it and passed a cloth over it as well, removing some of the dirt build-up, before grabbing the gauze and bandages from his other hand and creating a wrap around it. He tucked the edge into the wrap at the end, pulled a little, and stood up. "And that's it for your foot. Don't go destroying it soon. Your back will be totally fine, it's just a slight bruise. As for your arm, it might be close to breaking or spraining, so I'm making a support. Let it go easy for a few days."

Faster than should be realistically possible, The Jack had bandages trailing around Korin's neck to his arm on the other side and supporting it, as well as a spare rag to keep it all in place and whatnot. In under two minutes, The Jack had a makeshift sling thing for Korin's arm. "Take it easy. And." In a quick attempt, The Jack would try to smack Korin in the back of the head.

"That's revenge, you big whiner."

Probably done helping Korin, he found a place by the wall and leaned against it, sighing. Grabbing the pain pills, he looked at them again, before setting them down far, far away. Gotta keep those away.

That's quite a fall Jun said, cutting the bandages as he finished wrapping his patient up. Yes, I won. You could say my opponent was all shaken up over it. Jun said, peering at Victor over his sunglasses.

He tried hiding from me in the ground, so I made an earthquake. Frankly, I'm surprised he hasn't appeared here for treatment yet. I hope he's still alive. You're all set, by the way.

The initial shock was over, and even though severely injured, I hadn't lost my preteen mentality. I had to take my mind off the pain, which was surprisingly difficult to do. So I did what I always did in situations like this. I was silly. With use of Tuning (http://www.theninja-forum.com/Vbulletin/showthread.php?t=28615), it sounded like an ambulance was heading towards the medical tent as I was escorted.

Once there, I just slowly moved towards a cot or whatever, gripping my side so it didn't leak blood everywhere, and lay down, just waiting.

Sariso entered the medical tent, at the behest of one of the judges. The crimson maned chuunin had suffered a minor stab wound to his chest, and possibly a bruised face from an AT being kicked at him by his...'opponent', and so he wasn't looking for much to be done. "Well, that was...interesting. Can't believe he actually stabbed me. Careless," he sighed to himself.

He glanced about the medical tent for a moment, taking note of the people within. He didn't recognize any of them, but it wasn't too shocking. He didn't get out of the Wind Country much, and this was only his second visit to Sato. He made a mental note to get out more often.

The chuunin winced again slightly as pain flared from his injury again. While it wasn't serious, it was annoying and stingy and not really pleasant at all.

Excuse me Jun said before Victor could reply, Somebody seems to be bleeding all over my medical tent He then turned and moved towards the cot, where Justin was now laying.

The wound looked pretty severe. But, Jun wouldn't have any serious problems dealing with it. He pulled out another roll of bandages, as well as a bottle of peroxide. He picked up a towel and handed it to Justin. Please hold this over your wound for the next minute or so, to slow the bleeding so i can tend the wound.

He looked at Sariso, and saw that he was mostly fine. His injuries didn't look as life threatening, so hopefully his treatment could wait until Jun or one of the others was available.

Hitoshura
14-04-2010, 21:18
Peroxide, my old nemesis. I knew of the sting you would bring to me. However, I'd worry about that when the time came. Actually, I probably wouldn't, but it seemed like a good thing to tell myself. With the hand opposite the wound, I grabbed the towel and held it firmly over the gash in my side. Putting a lot of pressure on it like this was awkward, but I put as much as I could.

Raphael
14-04-2010, 21:20
Jun waited for a minute or so, to be sure the bleeding would have slowed. He then carefully removed the towel, sloshing the peroxide generously on the wound directly from the bottle. No pain, no gain, right?

Once Justin had been given an opportunity for the pain to subside, Jun would begin unraveling bandages and dressing the wound to keep it from opening again. Are you experiencing any other pain or injuries I should be aware of? Jun asked, looking his patient over.

Hitoshura
14-04-2010, 21:23
The sting came quickly and suddenly, causing my body to tense up as I inhaled sharply. After only a second or so, I relaxed and exhaled a long breath. I looked over at the peroxide and could see the little white bubbles, indicating the thing was infected.

"Um, internal bleeding, probably. Somewhere around my entire torso, considering where I got hit."

Herabec
14-04-2010, 21:24
Sariso watched one of the medical personal give assistance to the one he'd taken out. It was almost strange seeing the aftermath of an injury he caused. It almost made him feel bad. Almost. He had no problem waiting for the staff to take care of Ken before they gave him any assistance; his injury, while stingy, was hardly even worth a look. In fact, given the proper supplies, he could have probably bandaged himself up.

But that'd probably be against the rules, as otherwise Medical Nin competing could heal themselves completely between rounds. It seemed things would be different from the last tournament, from what he'd heard anyway.

As he waited for treatment, his mind wandered into the future. He wondered who his opponent would be next. It didn't matter really, he was just glad to be advancing, even if it hadn't been a fair fight in the least. The only reason he'd even gotten injured was because he'd grown cocky.

Raphael
14-04-2010, 21:29
Jun thought to himself. The cut wound wouldn't hurt much if he prodded it, but any internal injuries probably would. One way to find out. He furiously jammed his hand against Justin's left side, saying Does that hurt?

After that, he would repeat the process to the right side, and then the back. Once he had determined the likelihood of any internal injuries, he would use Healing hands to mend the midsection so that his patient was not in any danger. That ought to do it.

And with that, he would turn to Sariso. What injuries did you get in your match? he would ask.

Herabec
14-04-2010, 21:32
It appeared that the medical attention Ken needed had been taken care of. Good, he didn't want to kill him. Well...maybe he did, for a few moments, but in the grand scheme of things he didn't want him dead. "A minor stab wound to the torso. My armor absorbed most of it, but some of it managed to get through," he stated, indicating the location of the injury with his hand.

Raphael
14-04-2010, 21:34
Jun called over his shoulder to the two interns: His condition isn't serious, but someone needs to bandage up that stab wound. One of you two do it, I need to watch out for people with more dangerous injuries.

That's the kind of thing interns were for, after all. He didn't need to slap a band aid everyone who came through. It's just a flesh wound. he would say.

Hitoshura
14-04-2010, 21:37
Every poke would hurt, but just like any normal rough poke. Even though it did, I'd keep responding with "Ow, no." That is, until he hit a spot that shot pain through my upper body. At that point it was more like "GAH." That should be enough indication as to where the wound was. However, not soon long after the prodding of my insides, I began to feel a warmth spread throughout my body. Everything was somehow miraculously healed and I was whole once again.

After a little while, I spoke at Jun. Not to him, just at him. "So um....could you use another pair of hands? It's not like I have anything better to do than heal the battered and beaten."

Herabec
14-04-2010, 21:39
Sariso shrugged. He knew it wasn't serious, and nearly felt foolish for even going to the medical tent in the first place.. But it would have been more foolish to refuse any medical treatment. Every little bit helps, yeah?

And with that, he allowed the interns to bandage his wound and probably give him minor pain medication. It wouldn't be much at all. Once they were finished bandaging him up, he'd bow in respect and leave the tent to make room for people who actually had real injuries.

Hiding in the ground? Earthquakes? Just what kind of conversation am I hearing? He was about to adress it, when he heard a very familiar sound. Ambulance. But the question was, why was an ambulance in this place, in this fake world? Well, who knew, but first things first, time to find out where that sound was coming from. Apparently, from someone coming in, but before he got time to investiage the sound, he noted Sariso coming in. And almost face-faulted. As it was, None had seen that face before, but never personally, and never in Seichi. Which was an issue.

On the other hand, he looked down, and spotted Justin, with a gaping gash across his side. And out the door went his rationality for all of three seconds, while he pointed, stuttered, and panicked. Then calmed down, and proceeded to tap Sariso on the shoulder. "I got it." As long as he pretended that Justin's giant wound wasn't there and he couldn't see the blood, it'd be fine. Apparently, they'd only get a wrap or something, right? Something like minor assistance, so None quickly gave a quick splash of water to get out any junk, and then wrapped it up quickly, sending Sariso on his way.

A moment later, he moved over to Justin's bedside, looking anywhere but the now patched up gash. Wait, what? How had that healed already?! Seriously, that made no sense. Obviously, Justin's wound hadn't been very big, there had just been a lot of blood. Yeah. Obviously that. Right. Looking at Justin, he gave a crooked smirk-grin-thing, raising an eyebrow. "So...uh... Ken, was it? Fancy meeting you here." It was rather clear None knew his name wasn't Ken, but he couldn't help but worry a little bit. Oh Justin, what have you gotten yourself into this time?

Yuki Aisu
14-04-2010, 22:20
Indeed it was strange. The RPer justified it by saying there were medical charts or pictures or something like that and that None had seen Justin's face with Ken Amada recently or something like that. Well, whatever. Too late for that nonsense now. "Um... probably? That's a really vague description. So like... can I call you by your real name now?" It was admittedly hard and vague as to how None had found out Justin's code name or whatever.

Either way, bang-bang, None was now a little bored.

14-04-2010, 22:43
"Heh, yeah. I'm not sure why I used that name in the first place. But do you even know my real name? I'm not even sure I know yours." And it was true. I was too lazy to go find the RP thread and read through it. Er.....'remember'. Too lazy to remember. That's what the narrator meant.

"My sources tell me you don't. Justin (http://www.theninja-forum.com/Vbulletin/showpost.php?p=1063356&postcount=22)." Indeed, Justin had said his name only once in the entire time that None and Justin had been in a thread together. And None's hearing certainly caught it. Somehow. Who knew. Well, that, and the fact that None had seen Justin's picture before outside of this realm, but that was fourth-wall breaking and total cheating, so not really going there.

Either way, None raised his eyebrows and sighed. "So um... right." None sighed, out of conversations to make and the like, before muttering softly to himself. "Well, at least he's not taking off his clothes or having see through ones." Seriously, Team Infinity seemed to have a knack for that. Yukari had gotten doused in water at one point, and then Oyumi and Korin both took off their pants at random times.

"Oh! How do you know the ambulance sound? I haven't heard that thing in foreeeever, it's like ambulances suddenly don't exist."

After his match, Ishi was taken to the medical tent to treat his wounds. Good thing he only had shallow cuts on his legs. Proper medication for dehydration was also done to him.

During his rest, Ishi examined his equipments. So far, everything was fine, except for two senbons rammed at his puppet leg. Though it didn't damaged any important part in the leg, the genin took it out.

"I wonder who is my opponent on the enxt round." Ishi pondered as he drowsed off while waiting for his match.

Damn it. None took a deep breath and let it out slowly, refusing to look anywhere lower than Justin's face. Why was that even necessary? Mentally complaining, he just bottled it up. "Wait, since when are ambulances not real? Sonic the Hedgehog is fictional. Ambulances... not so much. Unless I've entered some sort of weird, screwed up reality. Wait... no... that's totally impossible. Must be dreaming or something stupid... impossible..." He began trailing off, totally confused at this new development.

Turning to the side, he continued thinking about it, and then noticed someone come in. "Scuze me, I think I'm supposed to take care of this." With odd grace, None made his way over to Ishi and bugged him. "Hello there sir. Would you please allow me to bandage your legs? Um... Umm... Migoto just watched as the whole tent became a bloody mess filled with the ins and outs of medicine. He saw people of all ages and ranks come with the same bad conditions, all asking for the same treatment. There was one medic, though, who seemed to know what he was doing. He was resting, apparantly, after a long battle. But by just looking at him, Migoto looked up to him. He was very precise and very fine with every movement. It seemed my former team mate was a nurse of sorts here. I guess I shouldn't bother him with small talk. And even if I wanted to play doctor with the cute boy that just walked in, this was a more serious situation. Flirting with the wounded likely wasn't kosher. Also, there seemed to be enough doctors and nurses here to take care of anything. This was easily confirmed by the lack of any response to my offer to help. So, I got up an walked out, though I did give Ishi a smile and wink before leaving, making sure he was looking, first.

Ishi woke up after his short power nap, not regaining much energy at all. The genin's shallow cuts on his leg were healed quite well. It was not wise for him at the very least that he used roughly half of his chakra in his fight. But again, he has no choice but to do it. He wanted to win after all.

Wait.

"Why is it that you want to win so badly?"

Naoya's words reverbarated in his head over and over again. Why did Ishi want to win anyway? What was he fighting for?

Still clueless, Ishi decided to check his equipments hoping that suddenly an answer would pop out.

Gawd. Did this guy really have to bleed so much? With Jack (http://www.theninja-forum.com/Vbulletin/showthread.php?t=38708) over her shoulder, the Genin entered the medical tent at a stagger. She wasn't injured at all herself, which was... amazing, as far as she was concerned, but given that freakin' ninja tended to bleed out more blood than the average person had in them in short periods of time, she didn't look that way.

"Gonna need a hand over here with this guy, if anyone's free," the Genin muttered. Between the kunai wound stuck in his ribs, the very likely bruising from being hit head on by a C-rank attack jutsu, and being caught on the fringe of a few exploding tag barrages, her opponent wasn't in the best of conditions... as should have been obvious by the fact she had to be carrying him in the first place.

Spotting a familiar form, Kiwazari frowned. Her memory was pretty good, and if that was who she thought it was, it would be best if he didn't see them like this. "Ishi-kun, if you would kindly not look this way for a little while... it's a bit of a mess."

Jack had little to say other than, "No needles!!!" his tired green eyes traveled around the tent, "You know mighty mouse will get tiered, so please give me a hand here..." he wined, who's big idea was to stuff everyone in such a small tent. In his mind he though about the wire user she was looking for, sadly he was sure it was the same wire user that killed one of his friends, the same wire use that had poked around the Kudo family for years now, "I know it's late to answer that question, but yeah I know Ishi, where kind of friends."

Two familiar voices perked Ishi which caused him to look for the sources. Good thing that even before the genin could look, Kiwi, a friend of him warned him not to do so. Knowing that he's in a medical tent, there would be obvious reasons that any form of blood was lurking somewhere.

Stopping midway on his turn, Ishi faced his back at the two quite quickly. "Kiwi? Is that you? and Jack??!" The genin asked, surprised that he met the two in the most awkward place ever. Well, in his own opinion that is. He would prefer talking to them inside a cafe or something.

"Yeah, it's us. Jack here just spent the last little bit listening in on a class on projectiles, pointy things, explosions and Suiton ninjutsu. Before I forget, you still owe me a meal, Ishi. You didn't lose your match, did ya?" Kiwi teased as she helped Jack to one of the vacant beds. It would probably make a mess on the linens, but they could deal with that later. She didn't want him bleeding to death on -her-. "You alright, Jack? How's it going, Ishi?"

"What I'd do for a shower... actually, I might just go make one. Heh. I bet the crowd would looove that." the Genin mused quietly beneath her breath.

As she spoke, the Genin scouted the tent for any signs of her wayward pupil, Toph. The poor girl had been scared silly about coming here, but she had heard the announcement that she had won and wanted to congratulate her in person.

After a little effort, she finally spotted the blind girl and, just barely, resisted the urge to give her a thumbs up. It wasn't like she'd see it, anyway. "Oh, there she is. Toph, girly! I heard ya won. Told you you'd rock~! Haha, you're a right natural, ain't ya?"

"Kiwi? Is that you? and Jack??!"

He wanted to say a witty retort, something about not being santa or she not being a mouse anything really, but he felt horrible, and it was not really the time joke around.

"Yeah, it's us. Jack here just spent the last little bit listening in on a class on projectiles, pointy things, explosions and Suiton ninjutsu. Before I forget, you still owe me a meal, Ishi. You didn't lose your match, did ya?"

As he got into the bed, he stared at his friend, he had change since the last time that they met, he was still the weird duffus, Ishi looked a lot more responsible and experienced.

"You alright, Jack? How's it going, Ishi?"

"I'll live, after all someone here stabbed me whit a senbon in another tourney," he said as his tired green orbs moved on Ishi, "Remember~" the only thing that pushed him was his friendly rivalry whit Ishi, outside that, he would have dropped from being a shinobi long ago, after all it took him five almost six years to get to Genin.

"Thanks for all," he said looking at the girl who he still didn't know his real name. Looking at Ishi, "What's up?" he asked, "Would you do me a favor and tell her not to look for the killer of Kudo Kain... Something tells me she's looking for him and that's not smart..." he said in code, it was no secret that Kain had died at chiyo's hands and scary wire user from konoki was one of his many description. "So your still a step ahead of me ishi?"

Toph jumped at the sound of her name, she had been sitting there listening to everyone around her talking about their matches for a while now, while thinking she was actually sitting in a corner listening to everyone around her. Though it did not take her more than a second to recognise the voice of her friend Kiwi she could not exactly tell the location just from that small bit of sound and thus turned slightly towards wherever it was she was. “You where right Kiwi I am able to do it, but it hurt a lot to do that and I think I hurt him really badly too...”

The pain was extremely annoying and would probably come back to haunt her later on in the competition but the condition of her opponent was one thing that would probably amaze Toph if she could see it. “I’m still not too sure if this is for me, but I will do it anyway and see it through to the end and prove to my parents I can look after myself!” While the girl was uncertain in most situations the one of proving herself to her parents was one that truly fired up Toph no matter what the situation.

"You gents will have to excuse me for a moment... TOOOOPH!" Like an obnoxious fangirl, Kiwazari... squee'd as she wove around the other people in the tent to reach Toph, who she promptly wrapped up in a great big hug, which was aaalmost as strong as one that Toph could make. Hey, shush you. "That's my girl. I know you can do anything you put your mind to," she poked Toph's nose playfully. It was genuinely heart-warming for her to get to see her pupil again. Well, 'pupil' was the nice word for it. Kidnapping victim was more like it.

"Hey, hey. Come with me." Taking Toph by the hand, she dragged her back to where Ishi and Jack were waiting. "Hey, guys. This is Toph, she's my student. Toph, this is Kudo Ishi and Jack the fox boy. If you're wondering about all the blood, it's his. He's the kinda messy guy you can take camping with you, but probably don't want touching your china."

Ryou staggered into the medical tent, having decided after two steps that waiting the genjutsu out was not gonna be an option. Sweat beaded across his brow, gritted teeth, as he moaned low in his throat.

Biting his lower lip in an attempt to alleviate the pain, Ryou made his way into the tent fully, not actually aware of who was in there, too focused on the pain he was under.

"Can someone kai me out please?" he called out, nearly tripping as the sensation of his flesh melting started to work on his right foot, "I would really, really appreciate it"

The sound of ‘squeeing’ was truly a surprise to Toph, really now is squee a sound a human can make? She was even more surprised when Kiwi was suddenly hugging her and poking her nose but was back into it again moments later and hugged the other girl back “Err... not quite. I put my mind to hiding in the corner but I get the strong feeling that I ended up somewhere else...” Her hand was suddenly snatched up while she was saying this and she found herself being dragged off in the direction that Kiwi had come ‘squeeing’ from. She could have resisted and pulled Kiwi back, but really she did not know that. They come to a sudden stop and Kiwi introduced her to two people she had never met before, funny how an introduction was needed there... Toph’s first reaction was to take a step behind Kiwi and avoid being noticed, even though this plan probably brought her to their attention even than anything else. “Umm, hi...”

Yuogo was brought in the tent by three medics. He was unconscious and obviously in bad shape as two of them were carrying him and one kept pressing the wound in his stomach. It was pretty deep and it kept bleeding. He also had many more cuts all over his body from Haseo's scythe. When they put him on the table, one medic placed his hands over the wound creating a green sphere around his hands. Other medic used the same technique on cuts over his body.

In less then half an hour Yuogo woke up. He could still feel the pain coming from his stomach, but he ignored it. He felt ashamed as he lost because of his stupid mistake. Even though he didn't feel well, he moved his legs to the right so he could stand on his feet. As he looked around, he noticed many people inside the tent either waiting for their medic treatment or just talking with each other. He hoped to see Haseo and congratulate him for the win, although he was unsure if he would be able to do so. Anyhow, he went around the tent to look for Haseo.

After some time, he found him at the entrance. It seemed as if his last jutsu still affected him. He was actually glad he learned that jutsu. Very helpful one, for sure. Yuogo approached Haseo and smiled to him, hoping that he still isn't in his rage mode. "Congratulations... I must say, you are much better ninja than I am. Umm... Yeah...", he said unsure what to say next.

Ishi remained stunned, unable to move and speak until Kiwi left. The genin couldn't really get over on the idea of meeting these two in such a place. Recollecting his thoughts and continuing the discussion Jack has started, the brunette started to speak.

"You do still remember a lot Jack."

Ishi at that time was wearing again his attire, by then Jack would probably noticed his prosthetic limb. Wearing his black glove tightly to his artificial hand the genin replied at the other's last question.

"I'm ahead of you because I'm chasing someone." The genin was referring to none other than Ikaze, the genin who had cut his limbs.

Few more people rushed in inside the tent, however Ishi didn't dared to look at them. They would probably be covered with blood after all. However, he did took note of Kiwi introducing Toph to them. Chuckling a bit on how Rikuhuu Genin introduced Jack to her student, the kudo boy waved his hand.

"Nice to meet you. Sorry can't look that way. Blame Jack."

The match was over, just like that. “A genin?” She wondered in a bit of shock. Pretty tough for just a genin. It was over though, and Rin felt relieved. She’d been so very close to killing the girl or possibly vice-versa.

With help from a Tournament staff member, Rin limped towards the medical tent. She was a bit of a mess. Soaking wet in frozen waters, though that had helped slow the bleeding down at least. Her upper leg was cut and torn clean through. From her knee back to halfway to her thigh. She was sure the bone was even visible… and likely the whatever was behind her. That was going to take a lot of work to patch up. Work she was a bit too tired to do herself if they were kind enough to do it.

Each step was sending huge waves of pain through her, but she bore it in quiet grimness. That last fight had reminded her why she didn’t like tournaments. Too much fighting and ugliness could happen.

Rin was helped into the tent and to a place to sit down. Her leg was covered in blood. Each step she took left a bloody footprint shaped spot behind. Not suprisng she was starting to feel a bit light headed. Not really good. She was cold too, but getting out of the ice field was helping that at least.

She grabbed a bit of elastic medical tape and wrapped it around her thigh as tight as she could. Then tied it off to help stop from bleeding out. Dyeing here would really suck after all that.

After that was done, Rin began removing her chuunin vest. Peeling off the sopping wet thing and dropping it beside her. Her goggles were next. Then she pulled off her jacket and left only her shirts on. Her skin was coverned in goosebumps and she was shivering from the cold still.

Rin set to work on her own leg. Thinking it was better just to take care of it than wait for someone else. The bonus of being a mednin. Her hands hovered over her leg and began to glow with the healing power of her jutsu. There was a lot of damage. She could both see and feel that.

Victor had been sitting, observing the other fighters entering the tent from a suitably out-of-the-way spot in the corner. He was also resting, focusing on his next fight. For the most part, none of the other combatants were people he knew. Until one.

Rin stumbled in, shivering noticeably and limping along to a bench, where she quickly started removing damp clothing, still shaking. Victor realized she had been in some very cold water. And in the current Sati weather, she was probably freezing. He made his way over to her.

"Jeez, Rin. How did you manage this mess? I'd say it's good to see you again, but honestly... right now, seeing you just makes me feel really really cold."

Victor removed his own shirt, much more suitable for the weather conditions. It was likely too big for her, but it would do much to keep her warm. Plus, it was perfectly dry, and heavy. Now, however, the wires covering his upper torso could be seen hanging openly. Extending his shirt to her, he spoke again.

"Here, take it. Let me go find you some towels and a blanket."

Victor quickly tracked down one of the medical shinobi, pinning them until they told him where to get a towel and a blanket, before heading to get them both. It wouldn't be long before Victor was back with both in hand, giving the towel to Rin as he set the blanket around her shoulders.

"There. Now please tell me you actually won whatever fight caused this."

Rin was a bit surprised to see Victor there. She was pretty well concentrating on her own little bubble of space while she took care of herself, and really hadn’t noticed anyone else. That was till he poked his head into her ‘bubble’.

She chuckled a bit weakly as she glanced back down at her leg. Her hands still glowing as she worked to heal herself. “Quite easily apparently. The wet was mostly my own fault. The leg… eh, I took a hit trying to get an attack off.”

She was hesitant to take his shirt. Since she would end up getting it all wet. Yet she shivering prompted her to take it. “Thank you.” When he returned with the towel and blanket, she wrapped bother around her body. Her first priority was her leg. She could warm up after she stopped bleeding. At least she could feel the flesh knitting back together. Though it sure hurt like hell’s fury.

She smiled at him through her concentration. “I did, it seems. Tough little bugger she was.” She glanced at him. It was nice seeing a familiar, friendly, face. “You remember that blond Rikuhi nin from the chuunin exams? Way back when?” She asked. “Well that’s who I was fighting. She got disqualified near the end, cause apparently she’s still a genin.” Hard to imagine a genin was that strong. Granted Rin wasn’t exactly the toughest chuunin around either.

Rin sobered a little. “It was getting real ugly near the end. We probably would have killed each other if they hadn’t stepped in.”

Kiyoshi after a sobering experience with his grandfather walked into the tent. His head trauma wasn't to bad just some cuts from having his head breaking one of the monitors in the viewing area. While eating and such after the indecent he figured he could get some information from some of the combatants on their matches.

His eyes scanned the area for anyone he might recognize. Which of course he did a shirtless Victor whom was having a conversation with a nin from his own village.Kiyoshi walked over and gave a polite wave to the two of them not really paying any attention to the fact that the bandages on his head were still letting some of the blood trickle down his face.

Jun awoke, hearing a large amount of commotion in the medical tent. It looked like several patients had arrived during his nap, and the interns weren't handling it very quickly. But that's okay, that's why he was the head medical nin assigned the task.

He looked over the injuries, immediately noticing the person with a severely damaged leg. Most everyone else had scratches, bruises, etc. She seemed to be the most critical.

He grabbed a towel, the peroxide, a handful of painkillers with some bottled water and a roll of bandages from the supply crates, moving over to Rin. You seem to have suffred quite a wound there, miss Asako the Jounin said as he placed the towel over her leg wound, applying pressure. He set the other supplies down next to her.

You're a capable enough medical nin I think you can handle wrapping your own leg up. I thought I'd just get you the supplies and leave you to your own devices. Hey you! Stay out of there! Aren'y you supposed to be resting! Jun called to Victor, whom had gone rummaging through the supplies. Get your tush back here!

He decided to check out the other patients, saying Good luck on your next match, Rin as he moved away.

----

He moved over to Jack, immediately noticing the kunai wound in his misdsection. That had to be the virst thing. He pulled the kunai out, quickly applying a towel over the midsection to halt the bleeding.

While he did this, he looked at Jack's eyes, using his free hand to move a finger side to side and up and down in front of Jack's eyes. Follow my finger with your eyes, don't move your head. I want to be sure you didn't get a concussion.

After he had finished this test, confirming jack had bumped his head but did not have a concussion, he would remove the towel from the wound, dowsing it in Peroxide and then wrapping it in bandages. He gave Jack a cup full of water and two pain killer tablets. He could see bruising on the body, probably from being struck by the exploding tags. All he could really do for that was give the pain killers though.

Your friend should be fine now he said to Kiwazari. He didn't have time to socialize, though. This tent was getting plenty crowded.

OOC: Anyone in particular want to be my next patient? There's a lot of you, and yuki and cap don't seem to be posting at the moment.

OOC: Sorry. >__<;; Had no time to post last night.

IC:

Almost in a daze, The Jack noted the people whooshing in and out and registered knowing some of them. Princess Tiny, Ishi what's his face [nickname forgotten], aaaand... well, that was it. Either way, since they were ignoring him, Ishi especially, he could ignore them back! Well, not really, but they were busy, it seemed. It seemed that one of that group had been taken care of, and None had taken care of Ishi's wounds, so that just left Princess Tiny, and that other girl who was there from before and thus was probably already treated. Great.

That left... that boy outside and that other boy who had just gotten up to irritate the boy outside...that guy with the head wound and enough muscles to drown an army... And girly who was taking care of her own situation and man with long ropes. Alright. Well, the last two seemed fine, or were getting fine... so now he had a job to do. A strange job to do.

Reaching into the medical supplies, he grabbed a few rolls of bandage and such, sliding over to Kiyoshi and tapping him on the shoulder before giving him one, to wrap up his head. Seriously, leaving that as it was was dangerous. Either way, he'd come back for that later. Next on the list. Putting his hood up and covering his face with one hand, The Jack tapped Kiwazari on her shoulder and gave her a roll of medical tape-gauze stuff, before disappearing off to his next venture. Hopefully, she wouldn't notice who she was dealing with.

And last, he arrived at Ryou, who had said something about Kai. And Kai meant release, so if someone could release something, it would have to be that head med-nin person. Perfect. "Hallo."

None gave a wave to Ryou, before grabbing him and dragging him along [and if Ryou was light enough, tossing him on a stretcher or something], until they got to the center of the medical tent. He then disappeared to the side of the tent or somewhere inconspicious. Then, in an attempt to project his voice and speak boomingly, None's own voice deepened and he used all those skills he had picked up from life to say his next sentence. Unfortunately, or fortunately for him, he also accidentally activated Voice Manipulation and Utsusemi, though that was relatively unimportant. Either way, he spoke, and the jutsu would ensure he got heard. "Oi. Anyone who knows how to Kai, can you help out this guy in the center? He needs that sort of help."

And then None continued to move around, grumbling under his breath about whatever the heck 'kai' actually was. Not like he knew. Too bad. Either way, he ended up in front of Kiyoshi again, to make sure the bloke had actually wrapped up his head wounds. Probably not.

Absently, he noted that Justin had disappeared. He also noted the guy in charge saying something about that guy with the wires supposed to be resting, and chuckled. Right. But apparently, The Jack wasn't supposed to. Excellent.

Kiwazari noted with something between a frown and an amused grin as her teammate staggered in inquiring after a Kai. She could, technically, have done it for him, but she decided to keep that a little secret. No point hurting his pride in letting him know that the 'useless' one out of their squad had learned a trick he hadn't mastered himself, now was there?

Not, of course, that she wasn't paying attention to anything else that was going on. Turning back to Jack, she pointed at him accusingly. "Oi. You know who I'm looking for, I know it. His name." she demanded as what appeared to be a Chuunin came in, who interacted with another of the previous inhabitants of the tent before being assisted by what appeaared to be the person who was organizing this place. Or, at least, was the most organized in the place, which might have very well been the same thing.

That same person proceeded to 'take care' of Jack in a way that would leave him alive, but still hurting. Perfect. She still had to pry that answer out of him, and it would be a helluva lot harder if she had to fight him back to his current state again in another locale. "Now, Jack." She insisted firmly.

Turning for a moment to find the blind girl, Kiwi smiled softly and patted her head. "Eh... Ah. Toph, Ishi-kun's a big ol' softy. If you can't find me, find Ishi, he'll take care of you, okay?"

Just as she was about to excuse herself to go find some people, a strange hooded figure tapped her should and gave her some tape. Squinting to get a look at his face, her mouth twitched into a thoughtful frown as she tried to remember if she recognized him. Yeah... she did. 'Thanks, but I didn't get hurt." she informed... him... as she handed back the tape-gauze-stuff? Unfortunately, she could not, for the life of her, remember what his name was. He'd been at that... tower... hadn't he? But what was his naaame!? It was agony. It was something really weird. Wait, did he have a name?... Or was it a title?

"Eh... Ishi-kun, Jack, can you watch out for Toph until her next match for me? I have some stuff I have to take care of and I don't think I'll be able to drop by until the next match is over. Sorry kiddo." Patting Toph's head one last time, the Genin waved to the others before making her way outside the tent.

Victor waved back at Kiyoshi, a bit surprised to see him there. Victor prayed he wasn't one of the contestants. He remembered seeing him at his massive dojo. Kiyoshi was one of the more imposing presences at the tent. But if he wasn't a mednin, and wasn't a contestant... ah well. Victor wouldn't think too much on it.

The shinobi that had patched up Victor earlier yelled at him as he rustled through the supplies, to which Victor just muttered something about stingy doctors and continued finding the towel. Upon his return, sat down next to Rin, motioning to Kiyoshi. Victor had nothing to write on, and he knew his friend was unable to talk or hear. Kiyoshi likely always had something to write on, though.

Rin nodded her thanks to the other Mednin. She’d seen him before, and made a mental note to herself to talk to him later. After all, mednin like to share their mednin’s stuff with each other usually. “Thanks. Good luck to you as well.” She took the supplies and started cleaning her own wound. Cringing a little as she applied the peroxide. She bit her lip and muttered under her breath as she cleaned the wound.

The wound itself was in much better condition. The gash was still there, but it was no longer life threatening. She was pretty sure she could move around well enough with it once she wrapped the thing up. Fishing out her own healing ointments she rubbed them into the cut, as well as something to slow or stop the bleeding. Then it was bandaging time. Wrapping the gauze around her wound to keep everything nice and neat.

She let out a big sigh and began using the towel Victor had gotten for her. Drying off her hair, skin, and clothing best she could. Her vest and jacket she left in the sun to dry hopefully. “What about you, Victor? You seem in pretty good shape. Did you win?” She said after she’d taken the pain pills. She waved a bit at a somewhat familiar man as he approached. She recognized him from her own village. Though she’d never realized just how BIG he was until he was close. ‘Holy sheesh…’ The scars, she didn’t pay too much mind too. She was pretty use to scars by now.

Victor laughed slightly. Won? Yes, sort of. More by technicality, really. But that wasn't such a big distinction at this point.,

"Yes, I won. It was close. Really, though, I just destroyed the arena and ended the match before anybody really started fighting. I guess since I was the one to destroy it, I got the victory. Either way, here I am. And no real wounds besides a few cuts and bruises."

Leaning back, Victor rested his head against the wall. He was thankful he ended his match early. Rin had to waste chakra patching herself up. Victor still had himself in fighting condition. He'd likely have some advantage over whoever his opponent would be. Not many contestants would be unscathed after round 1.

Not long after he started his conversation whit Ishi, miss mousy left and Ishi spoke back.

"You do still remember a lot Jack."

"Well I have my things, but i pride my memory" he commented as he stuck is tongue out.

"I'm ahead of you because I'm chasing someone."

"No need to underplay it, your just plain talented, I can see..." he said moodily, if it where him he would have given up, if it where him the one who lost the arm and leg, yet look at him here still a step forward.

The Rikuhi girl returned whit yet another girl, hopefully one that didn't want him in pain.

"Hey, guys. This is Toph, she's my student. Toph, this is Kudo Ishi and Jack the fox boy. If you're wondering about all the blood, it's his. He's the kinda messy guy you can take camping with you, but probably don't want touching your china."

I can handle china quite well thank you very much" he said crossing his arms and shooting a jolt of pain all over his body. The girl that miss mousy had introduced as Toph seem to be a little on the shy side, but whit his current headache, it was a good thing, why oh why did adrenaline had to leave his veins so fast.

“Umm, hi...”

"Hi, I'm Jack, though miss mousy told you already" he joked as he pointed out that he still didn't know her real name.

"Nice to meet you. Sorry can't look that way. Blame Jack."

"Sure I'm the cause of all the problems, blame me after all what can I do." he joked, flinching as the pain got to him, he had thought that he had avoided her when her little apprentice came around, but no his luck was not that good. "Oi. You know who I'm looking for, I know it. His name."

Luckily a med nin came around, and his green eyes never left the med nin's hand no way would he allow a needle close to him as the nin treated him he told him a simple order, something that seem like a waste as he in a way was already doing it.

Follow my finger with your eyes, don't move your head. I want to be sure you didn't get a concussion.

After the quick check up, he was given pain med's which where a god send in his mind as he was in PAIN.

Your friend should be fine now

"Now, Jack."

"If you die it's not my fault" he said as he crossed his arms, he knew people who had died from chiyo's actions and a girl who was obsess in getting her hands around chiyo's neck, "Well... Oh Soo sleepy~" he closed his eyes and rested his head whispering "Your looking for Chiyo, though I would start whit Evangeline Kudo..." he was not responsible for her life from this point onward...

"Eh... Ishi-kun, Jack, can you watch out for Toph until her next match for me? I have some stuff I have to take care of and I don't think I'll be able to drop by until the next match is over. Sorry kiddo."

"Sure, I'll keep an eye on her" told her as he opened only one eye, "Ishi do you still use the staff? If so would you... Take mine whit you on your next match? well if they let you that is"

Ryou pulled himself off the stretcher he had somehow ended up on as he felt the pain begin to subside, leaving only a residual ache in the places it had been. Gritting his teeth in irritation, he stretched out, wincing slightly in pain, well, nobody seemed to give a crap about the fact he had been in a very specific form of agony.

He should have just waited it out somewhere else instead of coming here, what a waste of time. Naturally his opponent decided to appear soon after, and the white haired Genin was not in the mood for this.

"You'll learn eventually kid" he said as he began to walk away, towards a familiar looking figure, "that or you'll die, I hope you learned something from our fight" with that he gave a casual wave and walked to the back of the tent, his body still twitching somewhat with the residual pain of the boy's melting flesh jutsu.

As quietly as he could he snuck up on Ishi, placing his gloved hands over the other boy's eyes, before leaning to whisper in his ear.

"Guess who~"

Jun could see his cousin Kiyoshi had bene injured somehow. He's not on the roster...Jun thought to himself, approaching Kiyoshi with some gauze and peroxide.

He set the materials down and signed to Kiyoshi, What happened to you? No worries, I'll fix you right up. And with that, he would apply Peroxide to a cotton ball and begin dabbing it onto Kiyoshi's many cuts. someone had already done a slipshop job bandaging him, bad enough that the bleeding clearly hadn't stopped. He have to undo the bandages, clean the wound and rewrap them.

Once that was done, he would sign, It's a mad house in here today before dashing off to treat more patients.

---------

What seems to be your problem? Jun said to Ryou, You look perfectly fine to me. Are you in pain? Where does it hurt? It was possible that something was broken, or there was internal bleeding.

Only, Ryou wasn't showing any signs of serious injury. Was the pain psycholigical? He had heard something from one of the interns about using Kai. But, that wasn't right. Kai couldn't heal the psychological effects of a genjutsu. Maybe you should sit down and have some water, calm your nerves.

Ishi did missed a lot of people, including None who took care of his wounds. The genin was so preoccupied by Jack to even notice his old friend. His discussion with the fox genin, the desert mouse and her student pressed on.

"I too value memories. Even if how harsh they are." Ishi said to Jack, immersing himself in his stash of thoughts, and assessing every piece of his past experiences. The genin's trance-like state however was cut off by Kiwi's sudden leave, making them the caretaker of Toph for the meantime. Still not looking back, the kudo boy spoke to her.

"So how are you Toph?"

Even before Toph could reply to his query and Ishi could give his answer to Jack about the staff, Someone snucked behind him and covered his eyes. The moment their body conected, the genin already knew who it was.

"Sora!" Ishi squealed, as he pulled his lover and hugged him tight. "I so missed you!"

Jun needed to actually rest. he had been mending the wounded almost nonstop for a while now, and he had no idea when his match would be ending. The rush had finally started dying down.

He signalled a few higher ranked (NPC) med nin to relieve him, and then said to the interns These guys will take care of anything too serious for you. Good luck and with that, Jun would leave the tent to rest up for his next match.

And now, None decided that Kiyoshi would be ignored and got to tending his own wounds, just as Jun and Princess Tiny left. He unknowingly let out a sigh of relief as Tiny disappeared, not sure why he had held it in the first place. So now... his own wounds. Which were... probably... he forgot where they were.

He had some back trouble from those multiple throws, and... ah, stomach problems. Lifting up his shirt slightly and peeking in, he noted the large, book-shaped bruise that was starting to form, and wished he had some sort of ice. But he didn't, so he'd just have to deal. No cuts, right? Nope. What else? He briefly checked his ankles, noting the slight bruising there, and the bruises against his knees. Excellent. All his injuries were bruising, which was totally untreatable without ice or the like, which meant that he was doomed because they didn't have that stuff. Excellent.

So now, he was going to find a place to relax. Slowly, he made his way to the piano outside that he had dragged in, clambered on the top, and with one leg leaning off the side dangling and the other sort of resting and dangling at the same time, he put his hands behind his head and backpack next to him, and then proceeded to watch the sky. Maybe a rest would be nice.

Following a certain white haired boy she couldn't be sure if he'd noticed her presence at all. Upon entering the tent she wrinkled her nose as the wounded always created some sort of off scent watching the other doctors and interns without taking her eyes off of Ryou. She got to thinking that maybe Raiden should have joined in with the medical practices of the tournament but by the looks of it the medical ninjas which were already here were in actual need of practice.

As she headed towards her genin who she'd quite literally claimed Junsei's mischievous side kicked in as she flipped through hand seals faster than the eye could see for Meisai Gakure. At first it seemed nothing was happening as a result but slowly she appeared to dissolve into nothingness and approach Ryou placing a single hand on his shoulder and leaning to speak into his ear.

"Sora."

She whispered so harshly it was practically a hiss coming from thin air.

Ryou returned the hug happily, a smile on his face despite the slight pain the action, he had missed the dark haired boy, and he rested his head on Ishi's shoulder, just enjoying the closeness.

Pulling back from the hug he looked the other boy up and down, "So how are you? How did your match go? I'm glad you made it into the tournament" he was speaking in Hyougaan, not realising that he was being rude to the others Ishi had been speaking to.

Before the dark haired boy could respond, Ryou felt a hand suddenly fall on his shoulder, and a hissing of his name coming from behind him. "WHAA!" he let out a startled cry, spinning around to see who it was only to find empty air.

Crimson eyes darted back and forth as he tried to understand what just happened, and who it was that just said his name. It had sounded familiar but he had been so distracted and the hiss had distorted the person's voice enough that he couldn't recognise it.

"Who's there?" he demanded even as moved into a defensive stance

It was good that Ryou still hadn't realized who it was that was playing around with him and she was just starting to think that he'd be used to her antics by now. Another trick was brewing or perhaps had already been thought of as she started her display, more hand seals flashed under the guise. Her body seemed to melt into view except it wasn't her body it was Ryou's and she'd changed her voice using her imitation technique.

"Oh calm down Sora, it's just me Sora!"

Standing to one side with a wicked grin it was clear enough that she was not Sora but she had to restrain herself at that moment. Anything else she'd do would draw too much attention and the smell of blood in the tent was making her a bit crazy, well crazier.

Then Junsei mimicked Ryou's defensive stance shouting the same thing he had.

Toph’s reaction to Kiwi leaving was quick in acceptance, if a little sad sounding “What? Wait! Aww...” She was now alone with several people she had never met and was wishing she still had Kiwi to cling to and hide behind. “Alright Toph, pull yourself together girl! You can do this talking stuff, the fact that there are more people than you have ever heard around you and the only one you knew is gone is beside the point. Now talk!” This was really beyond her ability, she was getting nervous and shaky and scared and, she was asked a question “I-I’m good...” she said to Ishi. What else could she say? Oh this was a horrible situation!

There was more sound of people approaching and what seemed to be someone talking to Ishi, it was times like these that Toph really did want eye so she had a better idea of what was going on, but as she didn’t all she could do was listen. It sounded that someone had moved very close to Ishi and started talking in a language that she had never heard, then a woman hissed at someone, though apparently the woman disappeared suddenly and now there was two of the one that started talking to Ishi in the first place. It was all rather confusing to the little blind girl. “Wha-what’s going on?” she asked Ishi in hope of finding out why her ears were stuffing up on her all of a sudden.

IC: Migoto saw many faces around as he went around the medical tent fixing small things as the head med nin fixed the real bad problems with the other ninja. As Migoto was working, he saw some close people and friends like his sensei Rin, but he was busy and so was she fixing herself. After a few minutes, he went back to one of the beds waiting for his next orders.

"Good to hear Toph." Ishi said to Toph while still huggling Ryou.

"I struggled fighting a Rikuhuu in an arena filled with lava. But I pulled through somehow." Ishi replied still snuggling Ryou. The genin held the boy as tight as he could. For some odd reason, he thought that someday Sora would leave him. An odd and stupid thought for him to think.

Ishi's mushy thinking was interrupted by a feminine voice which called out to Sora. The black-haired genin had thought that it was one of the people inside the tent who had called. At first he thought it was Toph, but it seems the Konoki Student was too young for that voice. He scanned the area for a more suitable owner of the voice, but failed to find one nonetheless. The brunette perked up more when his lover escaped his grasp and stood on his defensive stance. What surprised him more was the appearance of another Ryou in front of them.

Instinct told Ishi to guard his man. The genin screened away his "Ryou" to the other Sora who had just appeared in front of them. The brunette didn't say a word, but his emerald green eyes tells the "doppelganger" to back off.

Ryou's eyes narrowed at the other him, wondering who would possibly do a thing like that to him, and why. For some reason his mind kept coming back to one person who would certainly do something like this. It wasn't even that farfetched for her to be here, it was the 'World' Tournament after all.

Looking at his doppelganger in suspicion he hesitated, trying to decide if his thoughts were correct, and whether voicing his idea would be a stupid thing or not. Relaxing his stance after a moment he tilted his head to the side, and finally made his decision.

"...Sensei?" he asked cautiously, still on guard in case he was wrong, or if he was right and she decided that it was time for him to learn some more things. That might get a little unpleasant after all, though even so, he was hoping his guess was right, it had been a while since he had spent some time with his sensei.

Her eyes flashed as they met with the other boy's who was staring at her with quite a scary demeanor which she found bold but then again nobody had seen her yet. Of course her target of harassment was not the glaring boy but rather Ryou who seemed a little more relaxed. She'd been found out but was not about to give him a straight answer as she remained in her pose.

Then with a sudden burst of her superior speed she flashed to right in front of him her fist stopping before it hit him in the abdomen. At the very same moment she released her disguise exclaiming rather loudly with no concern for the injured.

"Ya-ha! you let your guard down!!"

Her other hand came down bonking Ryou lightly on the head then stepped back looking between Ishi and her student while rocking on her heels.

The atmosphere felt rather heavy suddenly, that either meant a thunder storm was occurring or that something stressful to someone was going on. The atmosphere really played on Toph’s imagination suddenly, and as there was no sound of rain she suddenly felt as though there was immediate danger. “Not good, not good, not good, not good!” she thought shaking somewhat, usually this was the point she would cling onto Kiwi’s arm but as she was not there Toph went for the next best thing, Ishi. The older boy would suddenly find the girl clinging to his arm with all the strength, enhanced slightly from her freaking out. “What’s going on?” She whispered to the boy who’s arm she had now taken possession of, her shaking would soon become apparent to him as she hung there, it would be interesting to see what the others thought of her now, though this did not matter to the small girl as she had now found an arm to attach to.

He had smiled as he was first offered assistance he waved it off with a smile though thinking he was fine. It was just a minor scratch to him anyway. Jun had come over quickly and signed a bit of small talk which Kiyoshi answered with a single word for what happened. "Grampa" Really as fast paced as it was in the medical tent kiyoshi was glad he focused on putting people in the medical tent.

The tent was such a madhouse, rolls of medical guaze flying everywhere people waving and signing and running off. Kiyoshi just held his finger in the air for a moment as if to speak and then just dropped it and turned around ready to get out of the mad house.

"Oh gooooood... Yelling and screaming, despite no reason whatsoever... Well, if I'm not going to get any rest... Time to push this piano away..." He growled quietly. Hopping down, back on his back, he slowly pushed the piano far away into hiding, muttering to himself about those crazy yellers. Either way, he would soon be out of sight, and close his eyes, swinging out his band with the intent to make the piano disappear. Excellently.

And to his surprise, it did. He knew it was a hallucination! With that done, he returned back. And if anyone was following him, NONE of that would happen. At all. Seriously. Don't even try it. Either way, None was soon back, sighing a little and running his hands through his hair once before deciding he needed to find out which of these ridiculous blokes was his next opponent. Blackmail sucked. Either way, there was that white-haired kid [seriously, white? Could you get any more unrealistic?] Sora [after hearing everyone say it about 20 times, it kind of stuck], Ishi, Princess Tiny who dropped out and left so cross her off the list, the dead man who just got his arse taken out by his dad so cross him off the list, and himself... and whoever was replacing Princess Tiny. Well, then... probably Mr. Sora? Or Ishi... Nah. Different fight and stuff. So probably Sora. Time to investigate.

And so None returned to his lazing around, and then patiently waited and watched, keeping a somewhat lazy eye on Sora. Whatever.

"The Aisukage??!" Ishi flinched, surprised that the Village Kage was there. What surprised him more was that Ryou was actually her student. What a lucky guy his lover was. Really lucky.

Ishi patted Toph head and said, "Don't worry its nothing." But seriously, it was something. The Aisukage being there and all, makes the atmosphere dense for the genin.

Jack was soon picked up by his dad, so Ishi bid goodbye to the other. "See you soon Jack. And please, keep up with me." The kudo boy teased the the fox genin.

Looking back at the Aisukage, Ishi bowed for respect. "My apologies. I should have known better."

Ryou gave a start of surprise as his long time teacher appeared right in front of him, unable to control the reflexive action. The white haired Genin accepted the smack on the head in the way it was given, and looked down in embarassment.

"Sorry sensei" he said, properly chastised, before looking up at the woman who had taught him since childhood, "its good to see you again sensei, you've been so busy recently that we haven't really had a chance to interact" he really did care for Junsei, despite the hell she put him through and called training, he was immensely greatful to her, and his respect was easily noticeable.

Looking between Junsei and Ishi, Ryou's hand rested on the back of his head in somewhat embarassment, a slight blush crossing his dark skin, "uh, I know you too probably know eachother, but Ishi-kun, this is my sensei, and sensei, this is Ishi-kun, he's my partner." The white haired Dao knew that his sensei would pick up the meaning of the word partner, and he absolutely knew she was going to give him hell for it, but he felt she had the right to know anyway.

Due to the rather sudden appearance of Junsei, Ryou didn't notice the little girl clinging to his boyfriend's arm, nor the person that had thrown him in a stretcher earlier causually watching him.

Now came the part where people needlessly onslaught her with formalities and mostly false respect due to the position she was in which ticked her off worse than not preforming the act would. She listened to Ryou with her arms folded cocking her head to one side staring intently at Ishi as he spoke to her.

"Known better? I'll have you know I find it rude when people don't respect me on a personal level. As I don't know you I have to assume you're just bowing to 'kage'."

Her teeth were bared under pursed lips and she pivoted on the spot her loose clothing swathing over an area around her. Slowly she headed for the entrance of the tent putting meaning into every step she took.

"Sora, you're fine now right? let's get out of this tent. You have much training to do."

This was probably a bad idea. A very bad idea. "What weird clothing." He muttered it, and chances were someone heard it, but he was sort of bored, and being inconspicious was too much of his style to keep doing it right now, as strange as that was. So he moved away from his position and gave the woman a once over. The fact she had been Sora moments before didn't register, nor did the fact she just appeared out of thin air. Those things were irrelevant and ignored.

Being more obvious about it now, he got a little close and gave the woman a once over. "Yup." He nodded to himself. She was a little weird. And he distinctly heard her say something about shadows or whatever. Great. If she was a shadow, why was Ishi suddenly so respectful. Useless really, but whatever. He had better things to do with his time, he supposed. Unfortunately, he was in the way, so he backpedaled a little and moved to the side, mouth creasing upwards just the tiniest bit before returning to it's norm. Either way, now he just had to be bored again.

A partner? A Junsei? What are all these things? Now I want to go somewhere else...” Toph stood for a while longer, soon she would have a match at least, maybe she should go watch the other matches? “Now I just need to find someone who can be my eyes...” “Hay Ishi...”

Mia made her way towards the Medical Tent, finally entering. It seemed like a crowded place. Not really sure of how to proceed, she would just look around the room for a few minutes, trying to figure out who was who. Of course, it didn't work that well. Mia had no idea who anyone was, and only served to confuse her. Her stomach and leg still smarting, Mia would make her way over to where it seemed to be active with people conversing, while staying away from that appeared to be the 'main' crowd. Placing one hand over her stomach, she would look around and hope that one of the medical attendants would be free and easily identifiable.

"Ah, good, a distraction." None muttered to himself softly and then proceeded to re-ignore Junsei and co. That's right, everyone else wasn't important. Actually, he kept a light eye on Ishi and Sora, and that tall and relatively irritating shadow woman just in case she decided to attempt to gank him, but that was it. Now then.

He turned swiftly to Mia or whatever her name was, and purposely got in her way, slouching so his height decreased to around 5'4". He didn't notice anything immediately, except her hand on the stomach. "Miss, may I assume you're here for medical help? Let's see, no obvious damage, so can I assume that besides your stomach there's nothing else injured? Say, a leg or whatnot? Any cuts I should know about? Come this way, please." He then proceeded to direct her to one of the bed-thingies to sit down. If she resisted, he'd get behind her and then proceed to push her over there and sit her down.

Rather carefree in attitude at the moment, he watched her for a few seconds, prompting her for a reply. "You want a painkiller?" Without waiting for her reply to that, he tossed the plastic bottle full of whatever the stuff was at her. Probably advil or some junk, who cared? Not that advil existed in Seichi, but None wasn't one for logic.

Mia was slightly started by the appearance of someone right in front of her. "Oh!..", she exclaimed before being led off towards a bed of sorts, the kind you would most likely find in hospitals. Mia found herself talking as she moved. "Well, I'm not sure how serious it is, but my right leg has a cut, along the outside of it...and I took a few senbon to the stomach." As her...doctor, or whatever you might call him, looked at her, she moved her hand off her stomach, revealing that there were two red spots of semi-dried blood on either side of her naval.

Mia would blink at the doctor as she caught the bottle, trusting the guy's word that they were, in fact, painkillers. Opening it up, Mia would take one of the pills and pop it into her mouth. She didn't even bother to respond to his question. Assuming None was paying attention, she would give the bottle back and wait to see if he would do anything else. She kept her hands in her lap as she waited, hoping that it was too busy for others to be paying attention to her.

OOC: I'm assuming the senbon are not still embedded in your body. Can't tell. If they are, he harshly pulls them out about mid-post.

"Hmm... Okay, this is gonna hurt. Ah, thanks." He was very blunt and somewhat harsh about the whole thing, not really bothering to be 'nice' and 'friendly' or whatever. Who cared? She wanted help, he could do that. She wanted a friend? Find him when he was off-duty or whatever, or find him before he went on-duty so he'd bother with you. Since she was neither at the moment, his attitude was pretty shallow and crude.

Pocketing the painkillers for later [oh yes he did], he grabbed his roll of tape and bandages and water bottle and whatnot, and then non-chalantly pulled up her shirt to about her mid-riff or a little higher, quickly tossing water onto the wound and then tossing some bandage stuff on it, before quickly spinning the tape thingy around her stomach area and bandaging the area. She sorta looked like a mummy. Great. Tugging the shirt down just as non-chalantly [after all, it wasn't anything scandalous or whatever. He totally ignored the fact it was a girl, a younger girl, and he had just pulled up her shirt. Yup. He was going to pretend it never happened, because, because. And it didn't. So there, hah. And besides, the cuts were relatively low and whatnot, so it wasn't too much of a pull up. Whatever. Conversation with self over. New topic.

Wound on leg. Rather abruptly, he pulled up her pant leg if she was wearing one , and then tossed water on it. Again. And then did it once more for good measure. He then proceeded to check for dirt, which there wasn't because fo the water, yay water, and then tossed some gauze and used the medical tape to quickly wrap around her leg in effecient, quick movements, her leg bandaged up in under a minute. Well, less than, but whatever. With the edge tucked in, he pulled her leg pant back down, stood up, and yawned. [I]"Anything else, miss? And no standing up on that leg for a while. You'll be fighting again soon enough, if you won, and thus you shouldn't aggravate it until you need to. You did win, right?" His face turned a little aggressive and just a tinge scarier as he finished, inquiring. That was a question he seriously should have asked earlier.

OOC: They aren't. So...yeah.

IC: Mia would just sit tight and look at the person who was assisting her. He seemed a little...focused, if you could call it that. All work and no play, or something. While extremely awkwarded out by how he would just lift up her shirt, even in the name of being a doctor, Mia made sure that it didn't go too high up. That, and her jacket would have been a problem to unbutton, had he actually done so. Going slightly red in the face, she would just let None quickly do his doctor thing.

As he would go bandage up the cut on her leg, she would attempt to casually fix her shirt and jacket so that it looked like her nameless helper hadn't done what he did. Her face was still red as he finished what he was doing and spoke. "N-no", she said meekly. This guy made quite the first impression. "I..did win my match...", Mia spoke as she hung her head a bit. Great. Now she was reminded of what she did to Dare, even though it was a tournament and all that. She just kind of sat there like that for a few seconds, before nodding at the fact that she would have to take it easy until her next match.

One of the people will help you, and as irritated as they'll be that it's nothing serious... It could be worse. Actually, nevermind. Bad idea. Just call out, and someone'll help you." Nodding and cheerily being cheerful not really, he gave a nod. Yes, that was a job well done. Good, good. "See ya later. Hopefully not any more injured than you are right now."

He meant it as a joke, but with his face as it was and simply the kind of person he was and all that nonsense, it sounded far less like a joke, and far more like a threat. Like there was a large, looming 'or else' at the end. His face even darkened for a moment. Well, whatever. Shrugging, he returned to his business of floating, before he stopped. Turned around. Walked all the way back. Put the painkillers back where they came from. And then turned around and walked back out again.

And then came back in. Walked over to the girl. Stood in front of her. Stared her down for a few seconds. And then. "Sorry."

Apologized.

Wait, what? Well, he did, and then he hurridly scurried away, face tinging red just a little. Why would never be mentioned, but that was that, and off he went to return to his casual spying. Casually. And floating. Float, float~ Like a waff~

The words of the Aisukage strucked Ishi like a lightning. All the genin wanted that time was to give respect to their village kage. And with the wrong choice of word and act, he irked her. How lucky for him. Hope this won't go to his village record or something.

Ishi remained his head lowered until the Kage left the tent. For the meantime the genin was speechless. This was suddenly broke when he noticed Toph hugging his arm. Straightening his stance, the boy patted the girl's hair and said, "What is it?"

Bothered by the earlier appearance of the AIsukage in that tent, Ishi felt his body weigh down as if something heavy just sat on his shoulders.

A couple of minutes have passed, and his mind was set again to his match. Picking up all of all of his stuffs, Ishi went out of the tent and headout to the arena.

Mia was a still a bit on the dumbfounded side. Was this person really a doctor? She wasn't even sure anymore. Mia would just let None talk, and...do his thing. At the sound of him apologizing, Mia would look downward, not really feeling like looking at the person. She would watch him run off, the red slowly fading from her cheeks. While he had suggested to go see another medical person to make sure nothing was wrong, Mia decided to not do so, and hopped down from the medical bed she was sitting on, and slowly made her way out of the tent, making sure to not use her right leg that much.

Toph suddenly found herself standing alone within the medical tent, many people walked and talked around her but no one she recognised was there anymore. “I guess that I can’t have someone watch for me... Oh well better go organise myself” The small blind girl walked off from the tent slowly, using the umbrella that she had stolen from her last opponent to tap out the area in front of her in an attempt to announce her presence as well as make sure that those that didn’t give a dam would get a stab to the foot from the sharpened point the weapon had. Her match would start soon right? “Maybe there will be a kind person to act as my eyes out in the stands...” she was thinking as she left the area.

Leera slipped into the medical tent for the contestants, placing herself and the animals out of the way until she was able to locate Victor. She missed him, and she was sure that he'd want to see Valiant and Alamea. And she wanted to ask him about that man...

Victor entered the Medical Tent, carrying a limping Rin along with him. He'd take her back to the bench she was on last time, near a couple of doctors, before standing back up and stretching.

It was then that he turned his head and noticed his family standing off in the corner. Victor hobbled his exhausted way over and wrapped his arms around them all, laying a soft kiss on Leera's cheek.

"Hey guys. It's good to see you."

With Victors help, she made it to the tent. Sliding herself onto one of the cots she bit back a groan of pain. Yup, she had sort of brought this on herself in more ways than one. ‘Tournaments suck.’ She thought to herself. She was fairly certain she was done with the whole Tournament idea.

At least she wasn’t going to have to fight again. She pitied Victor that much at least.

Masami was there, already waiting for Rin. Which really she hadn’t been sure where her partner had vanished too. “You never fail to get yourself beat up.” The armadillo hissed in concerned annoyance as she looked at Rin’s leg.

“True, but I at least manage to survive.”

“You’d better, or I’d kill you.”

Rin just glanced at her with a raised eyebrow. “Kinda hard when I’d already be dead.”

Masami snorted in aggravation. “You know what I mean bonehead.” Then she curled next to Rin.

Smiling tiredly she stroked her partner’s leathered back while mednin came out of the tent work to see too the combatants. She was glad she didn’t have to heal herself this time. Too freaking tired for that.

The woman was slightly miffed to see her husband carrying Rin, even if she was a friend. She shifted her sleeping son so that his head rested against her neck as she took a deep breath, trying to stay calm.

Leera watched Victor as he settled the girl and stretched, waiting for him to notice her. She didn't resist his embrace, but she wouldn't return it because of the sleeping Valiant. She nodded slightly to his words as she nuzzled her son's forehead.

Albion would carefully move closer to Victor with the sleeping Alamea balanced on his back. As much as he loved the girl, she could get rather heavy when she was in a deep sleep.

A voice would seem to creep into Rin's head. A voice with which she would be all too familiar, and only she could hear. It was as if someone were speaking to her in her mind...

Rin...

That all too familiar voice would echoe in her mind. If she thought hard enough, she would recognize it as the voice of the demon, whom inhabited Zaulyl's body, and was using his special seal to communicate with the medical ninja telepathically. Only you can hear me. I have some information for you.

Victor sat down on a bench, planting a soft kiss on both Valiant's and Alamea's heads. He could tell they had been tired. Seemed Leera had been training them after all.

"How far did the training get? Any luck?"

He was curious, but more than anything, he was glad to be resting with his wife by his side. He might actually feel rejuvenated after this. But he'd have to wait on the final match until his opponents were finished. Apparently some of them were still on round 1.

This could take a while...

Leera
24-04-2010, 20:01
Leera didn't trust her voice not to give away her annoyance, and so she activated her seal. To her husband it would probably just seem like she did so to keep from waking up the children.

They were both able to focus it for a moment...I think I skipped a step by asking them to go from that to trying to use basic Wire Manipulation. Valiant started to get frustrated, so we decide to come watch your match...

As she "spoke" to him, the mother knelt next to Albion and lifted Alamea, who remained limp and dead to the world. She set the girl gently on her father's lap before sitting next to him, holding Valiant even closer.

Rin gave a tired wave to Leera from over the working Mednin. It sure had been a while since she’d seen her. Just look at how big the kids had gotten. She smiled, feeling glad that they were all doing alright.

She continued to stroke Masami as she watched the mednin do their thing. Making sure they actually did a proper job. She was after all, one of the leading medicial Shinobi in Seichii.

Suddenly Rin stiffed in shock as a voice crept into her mind. A voice she hadn’t heard in a long time and wished she wasn’t now. She closed her eyes and took very deep breaths. ‘What… What is it?’ She asked. All the while wondering about Zau the moment she heard that voice. Was he okay? She hadn’t seen him in so long.

Rin? Masami asked concerned at how stiff Rin was now.

Victor took Alamea and rested her against himself. Leera had apparently gotten through the first stages of Wire Manipulation with the children before coming to visit. At least the family had gotten to see him win the match.

IC:

There is something coming, something you need to stop. Zau can't do it right now, or I'd send him to do it. Time is short. The demon's "voice" was clearly indicative of some sort of worry- not fear, but more like concern.

There are two problems. You're going to need help for both of them. Is there anybody nearby you can trust?

AleenaGrey

Rin was worried now. If a demon was worried and reaching out however far away they were… it was probably important.

‘Yes. Victor at least. Leera possible.’ Thanks to hanging out with Zau all the time, he should know who those two were. ‘There right here actually. I can connect you, I think.’

Rin reached out mentally to Victor at first. Kinda a ‘knock’ on the door. Zau had told her once those two had gotten his seal. Hopefully it was still working. She also linked Masami in to the conversation as well.

The demon tried to be as unshocking as possible. Victor and Leera. I hope I'm not interrupting anything important the demon said, sounding unusually polite, considering the previous encounters any of them would have had with the creature.

This was only representative of how serious the situation at hand was. Victor and Leera would get little warning, besides the gentle mind nudging Rin had given Victor. Seichi is in grave danger

Kennyrules

Victor's ears twitched slightly as his seal activated again. But it wasn't Leera like he expected. It was Rin, and she was trying to get his attention.

"I'm listening... let Leera listen too, if you can.

Leera, Rin has something she's trying to say. From her look, it seems urgent."

But it was too late anyway. The demon was already talking to them. He simply listened, then turned his head to Leera, with another grave look. Who was on the other end, and why was it talking to them?

"Who are you, and what business do you have with my wife and I? What do you mean Seichi is in danger?"

Leera
24-04-2010, 20:31
Leera closed her eyes and pressed her forehead against Victor's shoulder as she listened to the voice. She trusted Victor to do the communicating, for the most part she was tired of "grave danger." She'd had her fair share, but she would at least hear it out.

The demon's voice would now echo in the heads of the three comrades. I can't explain exactly what will happen, at least not yet. But it will be very, very bad if it happens. Since Zaulyl is currently occupied, I am sending you three to take care of it.

He would pause for just a moment, clearly discerning the tasks they needed to complete. First and foremost: The chuunin exams must not be completed. This is crucial. Stop the chuunin exams, save the world. It doesn't matter how you do it: You must sabotage the chuunin exams.

AleenaGrey

Rin patched Leera in as well, though it looked like the demon had beat her to it. Her face sobered more as it spoke. You want us to do what!? Crash one of the most protected events in all of Sechii? The demon had to be nuts.

Just what is the chuunin exams going to do? She remembered her own exams pretty well. Sure there was a lot of fighting and danger, but worldwide disaster? And what good were they? Three Chuunin’s in the face of something like the Exams. The very act would probably get them classified as missing-nins.

Victor sat silently. He wasn't sure how to respond. The... voice on the other end did not answer his question. So Victor didn't know who he was dealing with. Rather, he knew Rin knew who it was. So he would consult Rin. Because Victor wasn't about to do something so crazy without good reason.

"Rin. Who is speaking to us? And how does he have Zau's seal?"

AleenaGrey
24-04-2010, 21:23
Seems that the demon wasn’t going to inform them about just what and who it was. Guess it was her job. “He doesn’t have one of Zau’s Seals, per se. He use’s Zau’s…. cause he’s kinda in Zau’s body.” Yeah, that made total sense.

“I mean Zau’s kinda sharing his body with a Demon.” Ohh, loads better…. “It happened shortly after the last exams.” She remembered that day all too well.

Victor just stayed silent now. There was nothing left to say after that. Zau had a demon inside him. He was a jinchuuriki. That was one of the things Victor was definitely NOT prepared for. Setting Alamea on the bench, he leaned forward, cupping his hands over his head and rubbing his eyes wearily.

"Ok... ok, that's a bit much to process right now. A demon is asking me to stop the chuunin exam to save the world. We'll... talk later about this."

Leera
25-04-2010, 00:34
Leera pressed her cheek against Victor's back as she curled tighter around their son. She didn't want to be part of something like this, and yet here they were again.

She looked down at her son in his blissful sleep. Neither he or his sister had a care in the world, they weren't aware of the problems within their world. And she knew that at some point, probably some time soon, their young lives would cease to be just about playing around and following her and Victor's guidance.

Maybe we were wrong to put them through this... Her thoughts were focused towards her husband as she nuzzled against his back.

Victor slid his arm around his wife. She didn't need any more life-changing events. She wanted peace. But they were shinobi. This was the life they were destined to lead, so long as they called themselves shinobi. Victor couldn't change that. He didn't want to. He would defend his family and his village as his father, and his father's father had done.

"They are still children. They have the right to a future. I intend to protect that future. I won't let them get hurt. They may have come at a bad time, but I don't regret them for a moment. Nor do I regret you, Leera. We'll make it through this, just like everything else."

Victor pulled his wife in close. There was a lot on their plate yet again.

How do we get ourselves into these situations?

Rin watched Victor from nearby. It was a lot to take in all at once. At least he didn’t get stabbed finding out like she had. Nope, he just had to deal with the end of the world. So much better right?

It seemed like the demon was done talking for the moment. Which was good because one of the mednin spoke up next to her. “Asako-San?” Rin turned to see a someone who’d actually been a former student of hers. One that had only proved to be an average nin. Pity, but even they were needed. “There is trouble with one of the Jonin contestants. They were transported to Esakanki some time ago. They say that they can’t handle it. They need you.”

Rin groaned. Even now when she herself needed medical attention, they needed her help. ‘That’s the price I pay for being one of the best, I guess.’ Truthfully she would be glad to get away from this place. She’d had enough fighting and doomsday talk.

“As soon as your ready Asako-San, I will transport you there.” He said and bowed respectfully. “Oh, and this came from your Kage.”

He handed her a sealed scroll. Which Rin stared at in confused wariness. ‘God I hope it’s not a mission too?’ She broke the seal and read it. Sighing heavily she rolled it back up. “Well, It seems I’ve been promoted to Jonin. Thanks to my last matches.” She said more to Masami than anyone else.

“Hey Victor, come here.” She asked once she noticed he had a free moment. Motioning him over to her cot. “Here, take these.” She then handed him over all her remaining sidearms. Including her Kunai scroll. “Spoils for the Victor.” Rin said with a smile and a wink. “Now if these buggers don’t mind, I would also give you some chakra.”

Someone is manipulating the exams this year- using them to achieve their own ends. If you don't stop them, Seichi will face a darkness it hasn't s seen since before the days of Old Horizon the demon forewarned them.

Victor meandered over to Rin. The Demon was still talking, and Victor was still listening, but it was as though the words were merely bouncing off his head. He registered what it said, but he didn't have the mental capacities to wrap his mind around it. Instead, he simply knelt, took Rin's stuff, and let her heal him and give him the remainder of her chakra.

Victor now felt greatly rejuvenated. Returning to his wife's side, he curled his arm around her and spoke to the demon.

"What's going to happen, demon? Why are you so sure it will be the end of the world?"

AleenaGrey
25-04-2010, 16:34
Things were just getting so much more cheery. Rin sighed and rubbed her face. ‘Great, stop the chuunin exams, build an army to fight evil, Prepare for the end of the word. Sounds simple, yep?’

Her mind was skimming over various scenarios as the moments past by. “I suppose it’s a good thing I have many friends.” She realized sadly. Friends she was fairly certain she was going to ask to risk their lives. She closed her eyes and took a deep steadying breath. ‘Well it doesn’t seem like I have too much choice.’ It wasn’t really a choice at all. She WOULD do it. She’d do all she could to save those she cared about and those innocent from such a horrible fate.

Accepting the burden that was now weighting heavily on her shoulders, Rin turned her attention to Victor. Her hands flipping through her seals to transfer a large portion of her remaining chakra into him (30%). Keeping only enough to not pass out and allow her to function well enough.

Now she was thoroughly exhausted. Physically and mentally. ‘Yet things have only just begun.’ She reminded herself. ‘Yeah, and what is it in the chuunin exams that’ll bring this about?’ If they didn’t know what they were exactly trying to stop, it made things far more difficult.

Raphael
25-04-2010, 16:54
The Chuunin exams will start a series of events that will create a threat so great Seichi has never seen the likes of it. The precise details, I can't say. But, I know where you can find them.

The demon paused for a moment. Victor. While Rin is stopping the chuunin exams, you must go on a journey. You must head into the Land of Silence. There, you will need to cross the Plains of Sorrow, and then trraverse the Forest of Misery. Once you have done that, you will need to wade through the swamp of Despair until you come to the western shore. You must then cross the Sea of Misfortune to the Island of Damnation. In the center of the island, there is a peak known as the Mountain of Depression. At its very peak, you will find the Temple of Lost Souls. It is there that you will be able to view the Prophecy of the Blackest Night

The demon allowed Victor a moment to memorize and/or possibly write down the directions, and then would continue. The Prophecy is as old as Seichi itself. It is no coincidence that the day it shall come to pass happens to fall during the same time period they have scheduled the exams.

Leera, I advise you to organize the safe houses. Find someone with a lot of money, power and resources, and get them to set one up. Make sure as many innocents as possible are ready to evacuate there as possible.

From here on, the fate of Seichi is in your hands. And the demon would speak no more.

AleenaGrey
25-04-2010, 17:39
Well, at least the work was lined out… more or less. Stop the chuunin exams or face the end of the world. She had to raise an eyebrow at Victor’s instructions. Wondering if it could get any more miserable?

Then it seemed like the demon was done. Which was good cause her old student was pestering her. “Asako-san?

“Oh, right.” She said tiredly. Turning to her friends again she gave them a worn smile. “Good luck on everything. If you need me, you know how to reach me.”

With a nod to the man, he wrapped his arm over Rin’s shoulder and performed a seal. Shunshining them away to the hospital.

Leera

"Daddy...?"

Their daughter was slowly waking up, her tiny hands sliding up to rub the sleep from her gray eyes. Alamea always looked for her father upon waking, since he was the one who was normally there. He was her favorite, as many children have a preferred parent. She was most definitely a daddy's little girl.

Leera nodded back to Rin as she thought of her responsibility in the plan. It seemed fate had given her just the cards she needed for this, and all in the same day. There would probably be a trip in search of Jarvis in the near future, since it seemed he was intent of paying her back for her kidnapping and the kidnapping of her children.

Her hand slid through her husband's, squeezing it gently. It wouldn't take her long to get the creation of several safe houses under way, and she knew that her parents and some of the shinobi of Rikuhi would be willing to take care of her children. She didn't want him going on the quest alone, and he could always benefit from her company.

Victor squeezed his wife's hand as he pulled Alamea back close. He'd make sure nothing happened to their family. Victor himself had a bit of a journey ahead of him. He'd go. What else could he do? If the rest of this ragtag band was going to go along with things, Victor would too. He was confident in his ability to defeat most of what came his way.

"Hey there girlie. You have a bad case of bedhead."

Victor planted a single kiss on his daughter's forehead. It was going to be easy to fight for her. She was worth it. So Victor would put everything on the line. And he'd trust Jarvis as well. Jarvis would be the man to go to anyway. He was the head of KOTOR and, indirectly, had also been responsible for Victor receiving his Seal of Blessing. The man could be trusted.

"Leera, there's a man named Jarvis. He's an ally I've had that I have been meaning to tell you about. We can go to him for the safehouses. I'll explain who he is and my connection to him later. For now, just trust that he's a worthwhile ally."

Leera
25-04-2010, 22:12
I actually had the pleasure of meeting Jarvis just a short while ago. I've already decided to go to him and see about the construction of a safehouse in each village.

I'll see if my parents can watch Valiant and Alamea...I don't want you doing this on your own, and I don't need to oversee the construction.

Their daughter curled closer to Victor as she slipped in and out of a very light sleep. It was always a struggle to keep the young girl awake right after she'd been in a deep sleep, but Leera didn't mind allowing the children to sleep longer.

I can take care of the safehouses if you need to go warm up or prepare for your match...

Kennyrules
25-04-2010, 22:20
"That will work wonderfully. Make sure your parents take the kids to one of the safehouses as well. Preferably the one Jarvis will be overseeing himself. He commands a lot of resources... and I probably need to get ready. We'll get onto this journey as soon as I'm done."

Victor planted a light kiss on his wife. He had to finish this tournament, and then go on a ridiculously long journey to find a vague prize at the end. But if it was a chance at finding what he was up against, Victor was more than willing to risk it.

"It'll work out. We're a pretty tough team, y'know."

Victor winked at his wife before handing over Alamea, picking himself up, stretching, and making his way back out of the tent. He had a match to finish.

The mother would then gently slide Valiant onto her back, before taking Alamea's hand in her own, and leading them out of the tent. Their home wasn't all that far from the tournament area and it was almost dinner time for her children. He'd suffered moderate burns and bruises to the back, minor internal injuries and a very large, partially healed stab injury in his left side. All in all, he was pretty badly banged up.

Since he was unconscious though, he couldn't really describe what was hurting where, so it'd be up to the doctor to determine how to proceed.

It seemed as if the patient was ok, but needed assistance right away or else he would go into a whole new worse situation. Migoto quickly worked on the patient by first tending to the wound. He needed to close it properly as blood was still leaking out of the wound. After some painkillers to numb the body, Migoto re-opened the wound to suture the wound carefully. After that was done, he would get a iv and a bag of blood and hooked onto the patient. The patient would be fine, but he just needed time to heal everything. But of course, Youka was unable to comment, nor even registered that he had spoken. She was barely clinging onto her life as it was.
