The Hospital
Situated south-western of the Kazekage’s mansion the Nagare main hospital lies along the banks of Heion, on of the three streams. The Hospital is made up of three blocks and together they form a U towards the river. The buildings are made of pure white stone, so clear it is almost painful to look upon when the sun is at its strongest. Yet it is said that the warmth and radiant purity of the walls help heal the injured.
Within the hospital is neat and orderly, all the rooms finely decorated without overdoing things. The nurses and doctors working here are all competent people, always busy yet with seemingly endless amounts of energy.
The Hospital Gardens are one of the most tranquil places in Nagare, indeed maybe in all of Seichi. It is made to look as natural as possible with small paths snaking their way amongst trees and flowers. The water from the stream is channaled into a pond at the centre of the garden, a pond in which the patients can swim while they recover. Many also favour sitting along the riverbank with their feet in the water, simply enjoying the ever-present wind of Nagare. Once each year many villages gather in the gardens to behold the blossom of the Nagarian Cherry. In a short few days the trees blossom and their petals are take by the wind, carried around Nagare like a cloud of beauty. It is said that when these trees were first planted the intention was to remind everyone of how frail and vein human life really is, but also how it can aspire to such heights of beauty before falling.
