Shizuka looked up at the door into the Esakanki Medical Hospital. It sure was a huge place. Shizuka and Tezumi walked though a small garden that stood around the hospital, a few patients walked around there. It was a nice place though. A small pond surrounded by trees and some small bushes, the trees were mostly cherry trees, but Shizuka could see some other kinds too.
Tezumi winched slightly as they took another few steps, that foot sure seemed to hurt. Shizuka, using his bow as a walking stick, tried to catch as much of Tezumi’s weight as possible. He still wasn’t all sure why he was being so helpful when there was an exam going on, an exam he needed to pass. Maybe he was just being a bit stupid and clinging to all these ideals about his clan being noble and honourable. Or rather…. Shizuka had thought about it as they walked, maybe it rather was that he felt responsible. After all it had been his plan. And even if his plan hadn’t included the taijutsu it was still his responsibility in a sense.
“Here it is… Hope someone can help you with that leg,”

Tezumis leg hurt when she and Shizuka walked to the hospital. ouch, ouch!...damn that I had to get injured now...this sucks! she thought as they stood outside the Esakanki Medical Hospital. Tezumi listened on Shizukas breathing as it was a bit faster than before. He sure is a nice guy...since he helps me there and he's getting somewhat tired of it... she rised her head at the sky as Shizuka spoke “Here it is… Hope someone can help you with that leg,” he said to Tezumi as they began to walk against the entrance.
Yeah, I hope so too...ouch my leg hurts really bad Tezumi complained as she felt that the blood that had stopped stream now had opened again. It stung of pain as Shizuka opened the hospital door.
OOC: I shadowplayed Shizuka a little^^ hope it's okey?
Shizuka pushed the door open and they went inside, Shizuka noted a small sign reading, “Academy entrance, minor wounds and illnesses only…”
Shizuka didn’t read more as the sign went on about were one should go with major wounds and illnesses.
The room they entered had walls in a sterile white colour and the walls were lined with benches covered by red cloth. It wasn’t really a beautiful room, but it was very hospitalish.
Behind a desk filled with paper stood a round lady in a white nurse uniform, she was quite fat and had a very busy expression on her face. As they entered she looked up and then, as she registered what was going on, came rushing over to them. “What have you been doing!? No, no, no, give her too me,” she started jabbing. As she gripped Tezumi Shizuka let go, he bowed slightly to the fat lady and then spoke to Tezumi, “I hope it won’t take long. I will wait in the garden…” he said softly, his voice calm and steady. Then with another slight bow he turned and walked out into the garden.
A mild wind played across Shizuka’s face as he came outside. It wasn’t very cold, just a bit chilling. It played with the cherry blossom in the trees above him and Shizuka remembered the genjutsu… That was some real nasty genjutsu… Then again I only learn properly from experience. Shizuka took of his quiver and laid the bow on the ground, and then he sat down beneath a tall tree. It was close to the small pond and he could hear the soft mumbling of water upon rocks. Sure is peaceful here… Just the place for sick to rest… With a soft sigh he leaned back against the tree and smiled slightly, for some reason this place felt quite calming. Maybe I should read more in that book… Or no… I’ll rather draw a bit. Shizuka pulled out his notebook and with careful and elaborate lines he started drawing the scenery before him. The mild spring sun cast its golden rays down upon it. It sure felt good to relax after all that training. Without looking up Shizuka drew the garden before him from memory. Always train.

“I hope it won’t take long. I will wait in the garden…” Shizuka said to her as the nurse picked her up and carried her away to a hospital room. Was it really that bad?...she make quite a ruckus... Tezumi thought as she slacken her body. The nurse took her to a room and placed her on the bed inside the room as she called for a doctor. Yes...quite a ruckus...indeed... she thought as she lay down on the bed. Tezumi rested for some minutes, when a the nurse came in pulling a doctor with her. "There she is, doctor-sama!...It was quite much blood so I took her here!" she said to the doctor. The doctor went to the bed and pulled up the rest of the legcloth that was ripped from that Tezumi had made a simple bandage from it. When he touched the leg pain went through the her whole body as if a lightningbolt had went through her body. Damn it hurts! she screamed inside her head as she began to make some noises of the pain.
"Well it seems like you have gotten a pretty deep cut in the right leg...may I ask where you have got it, miss?" he asked gently, but Tezumi know that it was a cold question. "I got it, when I was training with a friend...he was the one that took me here...to the hospital" Tezumi told him as she slacked down in the bed even more than before. The doctor nodded and turned at the nurse. Get some pain-relieving medicine and a wet towel to wash away the blood with! he ordered the nurse as she nodded to him and ran away to get what the doctor commanded. "Don't worry, miss...I'll make you leave today...but it seems like won't be able to train for a while though..." the doctor said gently and this time he said it with a warm voice. Oh...yes...that means that I can rest here or at home for a while...that reliving
The nurse got back wearing a lot of stuff in her arms. She lay them down on a table in the room and gave the doctor the pain-relieving medicine. "Here you go doctor-sama..." she said as the doctor grabbed the pain-relieving medicine and a syringe. He stinged Tezumi leg and spurt in the medicine into the leg. Tezumi felt her body go numb and for the first second the the other she fell asleep.
Tezumi woke up and found herself still laying in the bed. She sat up and as she did that she felt the pain again from the leg. Oh, yes...Shizuka help me to get here with my injured leg... she minded herself as her hand reached the leg...it was full of bandage and she wasn't able to move it especially much. It seems like it was as the doctor said...I won't be able to train for a while...
The door went up and the doctor came in and asked "how do you feel, Tezumi-chan?" Tezumi reacted on that the doctor knew her name. She sat up and turned her head at the doctors direction. It feels much better...thanks to you sensei... she answered his question and and nodded slightly to him. The doctor sat down on the chair at the bed and pushed away the covering so he could see the leg...he pulled closer to him and this time Tezumi didn't feel so much pain. "As I said, I think you can leave this room for today...but you'll need a pair of crutches...since you won't be able to move the leg so much" he said as he went out from the room. "I'll go and get them, so you just stay here and rest for a while..." he said as he disappeared. Hmm...maybe I should injure myself some more times?...this bed is quite comfortable... she thought smiling to herself. She lay down and slacked of once more.
It took about 15 minutes for the doctor to get back...this time with a pair of crutches. He walked into the room and sat down once again on the chair at the bed. "Here you go" he said as he gave the crutches to Tezumi. She grabbed them and tried them. She could stand with them at first try and began to walk around with them. "It looks quite good...I think even can leave in a few minutes" the doctor smiled to her as she walked around in circles. Thanks, sensei! now I can get out and pick up my friend... she thanked him and limped out to the corridors. As she went outside the hospital she directly heard Shizuka...sitting down and writing something. Hey, Shizuka-san! she waved to him as she limped to where he sat.

The wind had stiffened up a bit and played slightly with Shizuka’s hair, at the same time it tried to turn the pages of the notebook. “Hey, Shizuka-san!” called a voice, Shizuka didn’t look up; he was trying to do this purely on memory. And besides he recognised the voice, it was Tezumi. So she her leg is better then, well it took some time. Still... It's good, Shizuka still wasn't sure why this wound worried him so, but at least it was good.
Without looking up Shizuka answered, “Hi… How is your leg doing? Any better?” Shizuka spoke with a friendly voice but slightly strained as he was concentrating. Before Tezumi could answer he added another question, “Ohh and are you ready for the exam?” He drew the last part of the bush on the other side of the pond, just one tree left now.
“Hi… How is your leg doing? Any better?” Shizuka asked Tezumi...as she was on her way to answer he asked one another question. “Ohh and are you ready for the exam?” Tezumi stood still for a moment to wonder what it was with him right now...He seems angry or something...hope it's not because of the leg... she thought as she spoke to him "Yes...I think I am...let's go...but please don't haste...I can't walk especially fast you see" she said with a friendly tone and with a smile...she walked to where Shizuka sat and leaned against a tree. She sighed as the wind blew up and flew through her hair. What a nice wind...hope it keeps like this for the rest of the day... she thought as she enjoyed the breeze. What are you reading? she asked Shizuka with a nice tone.
”There is no hurry so don’t worry…” Shizuka said, his tone slightly strained as he forced himself to remember how the picture looked. “What are you reading?” she added, her tone very nice. I wonder if she think… ohh wait… Shizuka did the last line and looked up at her with a slight smile. “Not reading, I am drawing… Well I was… It’s done now though,” Shizuka looked down at the drawing then up at the real version. He still missed some small details, a few flowers were wrong, and one of the trees was not at the right spot. But it was quite good, better then usual actually. Still… Drawing gardens was also easier then drawing people or animals.
Shizuka looked up at the clear skies above then over at Tezumi, the soft wind played with her black hair. She used a pair of crutches to move around. “Know what. It’s no hurry at all, why don’t you come and sit down here? The sunlight is quite wonderful,” he said, his tone was a lot softer now, almost mild and friendly. It was true though, the mild cold sunlight was very comfortable. Shizuka looked down at his drawing again, not too bad really.
“Know what. It’s no hurry at all, why don’t you come and sit down here? The sunlight is quite wonderful,” Shizuka asked her...but she stood still. She was still enjoying the breeze and answered him "Nah...I prefer be standing right now...It hurts to much when I'm trying to sit down" she told him as she scratched her cheek with the clawed glove.
Well, I can always try I guess... she thought as she sat down...it went better than she thought but as she touched the a huge amount of pain went through her leg and pain made her drop the balance so she fell down to the ground. ouch! ouch!...that sure hurt... she said as a tear fell down her cheek. Tezumi sat up from the ground and gave her leg massage...she loosed the bandage a little and the pain fade a little. By the way...what were you drawing? she said with pain in the tone.
“Nah...I prefer be standing right now...It hurts to much when I'm trying to sit down” she said, but then seemingly changed her option and sat down after all. It went well at first but then she suddenly tumbled over, “ouch! ouch!...that sure hurt...” It really looked nasty, judging from her face and Shizuka noted the small tear that ran down her cheek. He really felt sorry for her and somewhat guilty to, though why he did he had no idea, it just felt like it had been his responsibility.
“By the way...what were you drawing?” she managed to ask, even if it sounded pained. Properly trying to divert my attention away from the wound, well I guess that’s just good. Shizuka looked back at his drawing. “Well… I am just drawing the scenery here. Its training though, I try to draw purely from memory. Doesn’t always work too well… but I am getting the hang of it. It helps me see ever detail in a situation and then be able to recall them,” he smiled slightly, “It’s a odd hobby of mine… I don’t know it makes any sense. Still its quite fun too,” he said and smiled again. It properly didn't make any sense to her. Shizuka placed his hands behind his head and looked around. It was such a nice day; it was almost like he didn’t feel like going to the exam. Then again it would properly start raining soon, so he could wait a bit more. A really enjoyable day this was he decided.

Tezumi leaned at the tree again and sighed..."I think I understand what you mean...it sure is a nice day today, isn't it?" she asked and smiled. She hold her breath to hear every single sound around her...the birds wittering...the winds dancing and Shizukas breathing. Tezumi breathed out as she said "I think it's time to go to the exam...it will take some time with this leg..." she said with a gentle tone. Hope we will be there before the rain starts...
"I think I understand what you mean...it sure is a nice day today, isn't it?" she asked. Shizuka nodded silently as he looked up. It’s indeed a nice day, almost so nice it could be a festival day. Shizuka noted a pair of birds that dances through the air above them; there was something lively and happy about the birds. Perhaps it was some kind of chase, or maybe a couple. Shizuka had always liked birds; he loved to see how they could glide through the sky, moving so with such sublime grace and perfection. To be able to float upon the wind, softly and gently, was one of the things he would have loved to do.
"I think it's time to go to the exam...it will take some time with this leg..." Tezumi interrupted Shizuka’s laziness as she spoke with a gentle tone. She is really inpatient isn’t she. Shizuka shrugged slightly and rose slowly, “If you want too get going then its fine with me,” Well... I would like to sit here and enjoy the scenery for a bit more… But ahh well… Shizuka stretched slightly, I need that exam anyhow. He picked up his quiver and strapped it on, and then he picked up his longbow. Tezumi needed some time to get up so Shizuka waited, I wonder what kind of question they will ask… It sucks that I haven’t got to read on them yet. This could turn out a bit bad really….
Shizuka felt a slight chill at the thought of failing. He wasn’t entirely sure if he could actually live on with such a shame. Then Sepuku would properly be the best option… But no, he was of course going to pass. He was a Hinatase after all.
Tezumi got up and they headed for the examination room. There is no way I am going to fail, I am a Hinatase.
