Style: The Umeda clan's fighting style is somewhat unique. Unlike others who try to kill their opponent's fast and quickly, the Umeda clan does the opposite. In battle, the clan uses their genjutsu to stun the opponent with their magnificent genjutsu abilities make the opponent awe at the sight before their death. They try to their best to fight and use their genjutsu "beautifully". As well, they prefer long ranged combat in which they can be deceiving and use different tricks on their opponent.
Social Standing: The Umeda clan holds the largest botanical garden in Sato, and maybe one of the largest in all of the countries. You can almost find every plant and flower in that large area. Having this, the clan is very wealthy, but uses the money to help the village and the kage. Numerous times, the kage has asked for help when it came to any question regarding plants of any sort.

Description: For those who don't know the clan, the Umeda clan stand for three things, to love the land and the plants, to love the village, and to love the people. The plants of the Sato region has helped the clan in numerous occasions. Their first leader had told them about the miracles of plants and that if you take care of the land, the land will take care of you. Knowing this, the clan would often take care of land all over Sato and all over Horizon when they go traveling. They would also educate the people about plants and how they could help people in everyday situations.
Loving the village is next, and just is important. Being proud of your village is something that the Umeda clan expects from everyone and tries to show that without making them look ridiculous or obnoxious. You must be proud of your village because that is where you live and whom you will work for. To not be proud will be like shunning the people and the kage of the village.
The final motto is to love that people. The people of the village is what makes the area so unique, physically, spiritually, and culturally. To love everyone is something that his hard and strenuous to do, but doing so will gain you love, trust, and pride. By helping people, the people will help you back.
Background: The Umeda clan started with an odd couple, an old lady and a small young girl. Just after the incident that took place during Horizon, many people from across the area started to flock once again to the dreadful place which was once a sanctuary for many. Two of these people were the old lady and young girl. The younger girl's father and mother both past away from an illness which made her stay in the care of her grandmother. Being in her 60's as well, the grandmother had seen the loss of her husband and family. They were the only family that each other had. This was over 130 years ago.
As time went, more people started to flock the area, but many did not know the proper care of how to grow and farm. Seeing this as her mission, the old grandmother traveled all over and started to learn about the plants and food that was able to harvest. Having help from her grand daughter, both started to plant all over the place in the continent. It took years to do, but they were able to complete the task. During their journey, they met others who helped and taught them of what they knew. With everyone's help, the old grandmother was able to store information on all plants inside a special notebook which she kept safe from everyone, but the grand daughter. The grand daughter, who was 9 at the time, did not know that much and learned how to fend for herself by her grand mother. She learned so much like love from her, so when it was time for her grandmother to die, she was ready.
After 10 years of touring the whole continent and planting, the two decided to go find a home. They searched all over the middle for a suitable area, but no luck. They then decided to find somewhere with more cool temperatures and arrived to what would be the village of Sato. There, the grandmother and granddaughter started to work on a house and garden for all to use and enjoy.
Two years later, the garden had flourished and everyone from near and far have came for their harvest of fruits and vegetables. Everything seemed like a happy ending, but their was a deep mysterious disaster going on. The grandmother had fallen ill from her age, and was going to die. She didn't let the grand daughter find out, as she always told her that she loved her and that she will always see her the next day. But for the granddaughter, that didn't happen. At night, the grandmother had a stroke and died a fast and painless death while the girl was fast asleep ready to work on the fields the next day. Seeing her cold dead body, the 21 year old cried all day mourning over the greatest person whom she had met in her life. Seeing as if it was her duty, she continued on the garden as it grew to what it would be the Umeda Botanical Garden.
Before her 25 birthday, the girl felt as if she needed someone to help her. So she waited in her home all year for the day to happen. Many men wanted her for her beauty, but she declined stating that she will find the right man when he comes to her house one day. As she waited, she chew on a special herb that her grandmother held in her book as it was said that it would keep one's beauty eternal. She didn't see the after affects that stated that all of her children would also become very feminine, including the males.
One day, when tending to her garden, a group of bandits came and attacked her manor. Being scared, the woman tried to run away, but got captured and tied to as the men were going to make her marry their boss. Screaming for help, a man around her age went to her rescue and easily dispatched the bandits with ease. Asking how he did it, he stated "genjutsu". The two would eventually love each other and both became the first two Umeda shinobi.
During the past, everything went smoothly as the tradition stated, the female leader will bear a female who will rule over the clan and over the gardens. As well, she will become a ninja and work exclusively with the Kage. All seemed well until recently, when the female head, Suki, bore a baby who was a male. Now, the clan must deal with the tumultuous times of a male leader.

Suki Umeda
The clan's current head, Suki is what many call the most beautiful woman is Sato. Being very humble and honest, the jonin is loved by many, both in and outside the clan. She loves her son very much, but fears the worst for him and tries to protect him through his life.
Her life in the clan was like the typical female head. She was taught all of the ceremonies, how to court men, how to wear a kimono and so on. Being a tomboy, she hated these things, but did it all for the clan. Her natural ability in genjutsu is almost unrivaled and is known as the best genjutsu user in all of Sato. The only one who seems as if he can be on par with her is her son, Migoto. She constantly trains with all her might being determined to show the world how great she and her clan can be.
As her life as an Academy Student, she was constantly teased by her small stature as well as not being very well rounded. She was only good in genjutsu, and was the worst in everything else. To make things worse, she had very few female friends, seeing that the other girls were jealous because of her beauty. In her academy life, she met two boys who will later become her genin team. The two are Shizi and another boy named Uke.
In a genin team with Shizi and Uke, they met their genin leader, a female named Hakulei, Nani. She wasn't your typical leader who ordered the others what to do, she was like Suki's grandmother, who died before she was able to meet her. Nani loved the team and helped out as much as possible. She told the team about her life, her hard life surviving by herself after a fire killed all of her family. She was 15 at the time and had to fend for herself. This made Suki be reminded about her family clan and history. From then on, Suki looked up to Nani as a role model. With her team, they all did missions together and even competed in the Chunin tournament. They all passed the written exam, with Suki having the highest grade out of all three of them. When it came to the traveling part, they had to cross a vast amount of land in Konoiki, with their team almost being last. The reason so was because another team was ambushing others so they can be first. When the ambush happened, Suki and Shizi got knocked out unconscious. Only Uke was left defending them from the ambushing team. Being the weakest, Uke finally showed his true colors in battle, not fighting in the back behind the other two. Eventually, the other two would wake up and get to the finish in time. The final part of the exam was a fight, one vs. one or two vs. two. Suki and Uke were one team, with Shizi being by himself. He ended up winning by himself, but Suki and Uke lost in the final round. Nether the less, they won and were then Chunin.
Being Chunin didn't feel that different. She didn't wear her vest, and still kept her headband on her left shoulder. She then wore a dress with slits opening on the sides which would let her open her legs if necessary and pants under neath. Still being great friends with her team, they would hang out after missons partying or eating out. But, she felt as if there was something missing in her life. She wanted a husband. Finding a husband was something that not everyone could accomplish, but Suki still tried. Many wanted her for her beauty, but none for her love. She just waited as she then was appointed to Jonin with her other teammates.
Being a Jonin was a huge accomplishment for her and for her clan. They had a huge party for her, and during the time, met a man who was sitting down with his blond hair standing out of the crowd. This would be her future husband, Hanabi. The two would eventually meet and marry 2 years later with Shizi, Uke, and Nani at their wedding. According to Suki, her friends went different paths from her, but she has seen their titles and accomplishments grow and is proud of all of them. Being a mother, she is now trying to raise her son in a female dominant clan. Suki has a very good relationship with her son Migoto. Migoto, being her only child, gets spoiled constantly, but she also sets ground rules for him to follow. Her favorite term is "love hurts...alot." Migoto can tell his mother almost everything. She is what makes him happy and vice versa.

Amy Umeda
Amy is Migoto's first cousin of the second branch as well as his body guard. Upon reaching Chunin, Amy was told to watch her younger cousin seeing that he is the next in line and may be in danger. Taking him in, Amy is trying to teach Migoto everything that she is capable of handling. She usually quiet, but will speak her mind when she has to.
Beginning with her parents, who's mother was Suki's younger sister, they feel as if their duty is to protect the main branch. Having several other branches in the clan, Amy's parents feel as the need to protect all of them. So when Amy was born, her mother made her enroll into the academy and begin her training as a shinobi in hopes that she can help protect the main branch.
Amy was the popular girl in the academy with everyone loving her. She was really tall for her age, but she didn't grow as much after. In the academy, she would usually doze off or goof off trying to make people laugh, and got away with the jokes using her "cuteness" to her advantage.
Going from academy to genin was a hard change for Amy. She wasn't really prepared for what was going to happen when she was in a team, and was usually in the back being support for an all taijutsu team. Being the only genjutsu user, she was looked down upon from her other teammates, but she didn't care. She tried her best and eventually reached Chunin after losing in the one vs. one.
Becoming Chunin, her life took a complete 360 degree turn. She suddenly became serious as her cousin was born into the world. She was shocked when it was a boy, but still found him cute and fun as ever. Seeing this as her personal misson, she swore to protect the boy, even though it may mean her death.
Her personal relationship with her cousin is an odd one. Many see them as brother and sister or body gurard and client. But the formal is more accurate seeing that they get along perfectly. Amy and Migoto go every where with each other. Not because it is her duty, but because she feels for him like a second brother, whom she has one already. Her younger brother and Migoto don't always get along, but work together when they have to.

Hanabi Umeda
Totally opposite from his wife, Hanabi is the husband of Suki and father of Migoto. Seeming young in age, he is quite strong and very smart in both books as well as genjutsu. He seems like a tough guy, but will warm up to anyone as he gets to know them better.
His life was different from the others in the Umeda clan. He came from a small family, with just his mother, sister, and father. Being the male, he was suppose to act like the man of the house. He also had to take the family business of fishing, but he hated fishing. Instead, he enrolled in the academy.
While in the academy, he would often be quiet and make few friends. He was like the loner of his soon genin group. In the academy, however, he was often the love interest with multiple girls seeing that he was very good looking.
In the genin team, he opened up a little bit more and took a lead as the "head genin" in his team. His team did a few missions, but managed to become Chunin even though his team only went as far as the beginning of the third stage.
While Chunin, he went home and helped his family as much as he can. While staying there one day, he saw a woman being attacked, he was able to stop the attacker with his genjutsu abilities and the woman thanked him, asking if he would like to go to the Umeda clan party. He agreed, but not before making Jonin. While there, he saw the love of his life, Suki. They eventually got married and had a son, whom he will watch and take care of for the rest of his life. HIs life is not as elaborate as the others in the Umeda clan, but he feels as if his life is competent the way it is. He doesn't gloat about his status of abilities, but many look up to him becuase they feel as if he is one of the best male genjutsu users.
Hanabi's relationship with his son, Migoto, is much different from Suki and Amy. Both have the "silent" look that they give eachother. He doesn't talk too much to Migoto compared to Amy or Suki, but when he does, he uses his words carefully as he tries to teach a lesson to his son. Migoto looks up to his father, and Hanabi is very proud of that. He hopes that his son becomes successful in life.

The next head of the Umeda clan, Migoto has a lot on his shoulders. Being the first born male to become their next leader, many seemed to be displeased at the fact that their tradition had finally been broken. He now has to work up to the expectations that the clan expects of him.
Evern since he was born, Migoto was constatnly teased by his looks from his fellow peers, even though he called them his "friends." From day one of his birth, people felt as if he was a curse comming for them, from something that they did wrong. So over the years, the whole Migoto clan had mixed feelings over this young boy. Some hated the fact that he was a male and felt ashamed that Suki didn't have another child, whom they hoped that it was a female. Others, though, began to see Migoto as a blessing, a sign showing that they don't neccesarily have to follow the ways that were once origionally created from the beginning. Because of him, there are some harsh tensions between the clan, and Migoto hopes that he can unite the clan once again. He is now a genin, with many finally accepting the fact that he will be the next leader. But there are still a few, who want to think otherwise. Because of this, he is constantly with Amy, who accepts and loves him no matter what.
Special Attributes: In the Umeda clan, many are very beautiful in feminine qualities, including the male. As well, all are extremely good in genjutsu and their knowledge of plants are incredible. They can also use their plants as weapons like kunai.

The next head of the Umeda clan, Migoto has a lot on his shoulders. Being the first born male to become their next leader, many seemed to be displeased at the fact that their tradition had finally been broken. He now has to work up to the expectations that the clan expects of him.
Evern since he was born, Migoto was constatnly teased by his looks from his fellow peers, even though he called them his "friends." From day one of his birth, people felt as if he was a curse comming for them, from something that they did wrong. So over the years, the whole Migoto clan had mixed feelings over this young boy. Some hated the fact that he was a male and felt ashamed that Suki didn't have another child, whom they hoped that it was a female. Others, though, began to see Migoto as a blessing, a sign showing that they don't neccesarily have to follow the ways that were once origionally created from the beginning. Because of him, there are some harsh tensions between the clan, and Migoto hopes that he can unite the clan once again. He is now a genin, with many finally accepting the fact that he will be the next leader. But there are still a few, who want to think otherwise. Because of this, he is constantly with Amy, who accepts and loves him no matter what.
Special Attributes: In the Umeda clan, many are very beautiful in feminine qualities, including the male. As well, all are extremely good in genjutsu and their knowledge of plants are incredible. They can also use their plants as weapons like kunai.
Strengths: Physical
- very accurate with projectiles and other long ranged combat weapons.
Strengths: Mental
- good chakra control
- great in genjutsu combat and defense
- very smart and knowledgeable of plants
Shortcomings: Mental
- very low amounts of chakra
- Second doubts their abilities when their genjutsu do not work
- Many have low self-esteem (espically males).
Shortcommings: Physical
- physically weak
- low amounts of endurance
- low speed
